Well actually I jumped in here because truthers demanding that mainstream media people be ostracized caused my irony-meter to overload.

9-11 statements impacting two minutes of the Rally = an explosion of outcry/opposition by nontruthers.

The (mole) MC leaving the event midstream, impacting 3-4 HOURS of the Rally = near cricket silence.

Some sanity. Irony-meter overload, indeed.

Dear truthers,

Some people here will not accept your message. If they have seen all the evidence, documentaries, and articles supporting controlled demolition & government agencies "in the know" and still don't believe you, they never will. It would take Bush and Cheney to come out and publicly admit guilt; Bush can't even admit we're in a recession. I can't explain why some people hate Alex Jones, but they do, and if Alex were to change his views to sway these people "in the middle", you would lose trust in him as the anti-government authority; just another watered-down, counterproductive, tail-between-the-legs panderer.

You cannot tell truthers that their views are bogus. They have delved themselves into countless hours of analysis of 9/11 and come to the conclusion that, yes, our beloved government has done some not-so-nice things. This does not mean that they hate America, this does not mean that they necessarily endorse either party, but this does mean that they (as well as myself) believe that denying facts because they are too big for some people to swallow, is in every way, unacceptable. Even if you don't believe these so-called "facts", namecalling and tossing the "tin foil hat" around is not going to move us toward an honest investigation. Truthers believe in 9/11 with their hearts and minds; Tucker Carlson is not a loss to them, and shouldn't be a loss to anyone since the guy is a real tool anyway. Tucker Carlson is a small price to pay for endorsing accountability.

The most ridiculous thing about all the infighting between the two groups is that its happening in the first place. Its just not unreasonable to demand the full and complete investigation that never occurred. Nor is it unreasonable to require solid proof before going off half-cocked with assertions. Americans, all of them, should be interested in seeing such a real investigation occur. So what's to argue about??

I agree with your last sentence, but unfortunately not a single "anti-truther" that I've run into on this forum has looked at all of the evidence, or even a majority of it. This is obvious from listening to them discuss the topic. I mean this in as much of a non-offensive, matter-of-fact way as possible. I'm not some genius just because I happened to have researched one particular topic extensively, but doing so does enable me to recognize when others have or have not done their homework. It's just like any other topic in this regard, despite the emotions that it stirs up.
