Tucker Carlson & Truthers

I have been in many Ron Paul forums before and after reading ALL the comments in this post I am wondering if this Ron Paul forum is always so hateful and against each other? I really hope not because I used to be in the Ron Paul War Room all the time until it was run into the ground and have been looking for somewhere besides, C4L and Daily Paul to keep learning new info and to chat with fellow supporters. Did I just pick the wrong topic to read for my first one!?!

naaaah. just stick to threads not about 9/11 or

truth v. anti-truth

when they're not posted in the appropriate sub-forum, it's not by accident.

Oh, I get it, since you claim to have done the "heavy lifting", you own the candidate and have the right to use him as you see fit, while the rest of us are just hanging on....

Since you're here to support Ron Paul, kindly fight the truther wars in hot topics.

You're free to ignore the advice, but, i mean, c'mon.

My comments are perfectly within the structure and meaning of this thread.

Sorry, hadn't heard a single mention of tucker carlson in what... 300 posts?

Naaah, it's been the same back and forth bullshit that exists in the other 950,000 truther war threads already posted on the board. UTFSE, if you must.

That's because nontruthers are more interested in jumping on truthers again over their barely touching on the issue for just two minutes at the rally, than they are in addressing Tucker Carlson's leaving half the event he was MCing in midstream.

And when I find these articles they will be written by the exact people who are trying to get me to believe in some massive conspiracy. I mean for instance Loose Change. One of the most laughable parts of the video is how they say all these people who were supposedly on the planes actually were not and were not killed and they are still alive. Yeah? Well how about a freakin address or something. Maybe a dated newspaper with the dudes holding it, denouncing the whole thing. Can't you see how ridiculous some of these claims are? And even if they were true do you really think you can prove it in a court of law. If so you've had 7 years what are you waiting for? All this research. I must ask have you actually read the 9/11 Commisions Report? Or was it just immediatly thrown to the side as part of the conspiracy because someone who runs 10 websites and has made some cool videos told you it was?

You guys have been getting no where quick, because most won't take you seriously. You must shift to ideas and drop the conspiracy bits.

I have no doubt that the twin towers were brought down by the two airplanes that hit them, however I do wonder about the other buildings in the complex. I would like to know what brought them down.

As for wild-ass claims being made that appear ridiculous, I can only say that to discredit something, the easiest way to do it is to attach absurd, unbelievable stories to it. I think the plausible thing to do is to check out the original story and disregard the rest.

very wise advice.

In other words, you've done very little research on the subject. It shows.

You must shift to ideas and drop the conspiracy bits.
You mean the idea that government is corrupt? Isn't that obvious? Isn't that why we're here?

Ron Paul's opinion on 9/11 (when not on national TV in a presidential debate)

Audio interview The Alex Jones Show 1/18/07: "Dr. Ron Paul, Texas Congressman exploring a run for President, appeared on The Alex Jones Show Wednesday and had the following to say about 9/11:

Caller: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I'm tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

Congressman Paul: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don't have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy there's not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn't going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on." http://prisonplanet.tv/audio/170107paul.mp3

Radio interview on Wake Up America with Pat Gorman 6/21/07: In response to a caller's question about the 9/11 investigation.

Congressman Paul: Well, I think he was asking about, you know, who ultimately is to blame and whether or not it deserves more investigation. There was one investigation. They spent a lot of money and very extensive and I think he indicated that they didn't even mention the third building that went down (WTC Building 7).

Government investigations, as a general rule, aren't very good because when the government does it, they generally protect the government. And whether it's investigating 9/11, or, you know, Ruby Ridge, or Waco, they tend more to be coverups than anything else.

The truth is I don't know exactly all that transpired. I don't know if anybody knows the absolute truth, but there's reason to be very suspect of what's happened. And I am convinced that the 9/11 Commission Report did ignore some very, very important things like the third building, as well as why did those numerous Arabs from Saudi Arabia with the name of bin Laden get to go home when none of us were allowed on airplanes. That always amazed me, as well, especially since the 15 out of 19 came from Saudi Arabia. And then they turn around and they use this as an excuse to go into Iraq. So, you know the whole thing, whether it's strictly 9/11 but it's the repercussions from 9/11 that led to the useless and needless war, that all needs looked into just for the sake of the future of our country. ...

Pat Gorman: It seems that we've got this propaganda machine that has just started to really blow up and being out of control. Like, you know, tell them whatever we want them to hear. Don't tell them the truth. ...

Congressman Paul: Yeah and I think that's true. The only way that can work is you have to terrorize the people, our people, in a different way than, you know, what terrorism is really is all about, but we terrorize them by building up tremendous fear. You know, "If you don't do something, if you don't give up your liberties and if you don't invade this country, we're all going to be blown up." You know, so they have to terrorize us and build great fear that something terrible is going to happen to our country unless we sacrifice our liberties and go to war." http://media.putfile.com

Those quotes can be posted over and over again, yet the shrill cries continue, "Ron Paul doesn't care about 9/11, he doesn't want a new investigation, he says the truthers should shut up, yadda yadda yadda..."

Clearly he doesn't think the whole truth is being told and government is prone to covering up.

If Ron Paul didn't want to be associated with 9/11 truthers he would not go on Alex Jones' radio program frequently and would not have invited Jesse Ventura to the rally. Ron Paul himself is responsible for his connection to the 9/11 truth movement.

This stupid argument needs to die. Appearing on Alex Jones' show is not an endorsement of Alex Jones' lies any more than appearing on Fox News is an endorsement of fascism.

It's not necessary for you to demonstrate that stupidity and trooferism belong together every time you post. We already know. You can give it a rest.

So how many times have the other Presidential candidates gone on Alex Jones' show??

Ron Paul has no problem with his supporters being truthers. As somebody else said in the other thread, Ron Paul said that he wishes we would stop putting out 9/11 truth IN HIS NAME. That does not mean he wants his supporters to stop bringing out 9/11 truth in the name of liberty or justice. Ron Paul likes to leave those decisions up to the individual.

They don't need to appear on reptoid radio in order to get exposure.

Paul doesn't either anymore. Somebody should send him a memo.

I thought I tried to make that point 5 pages ago.

The reason politicians make appearances is to gain supporters. Why would Ron Paul go on a truther radio show if he wasn't trying to pickup truther supporters who already agree with him?

When Ron Paul appears on Fox News, he is attempting to persuade people into changing how they think about modern politics and go back to their limited government, conservative roots. He wants them to step back and take a look at our foreign policy and how it is actually putting our country in danger. He is not trying to pickup support FROM fascists, he is trying to convert them to the liberty message and to his campaign.

Have you considered the possibility that maybe Paul appears on Alex Jones' show because he's attempting to persuade Alex's audience to change how they think about reptoid conpiracies and y2k apocalypses? Maybe he isn't trying to pickup support FROM truthers, maybe he is trying to convert them to the message of sanity and rational discourse?

Considering Ron Paul has never mentioned reptoid conspiracies and y2k apocalypses on Alex Jones' show, I'd say, ummm, no.

And thanks for proving my point.
This isn't about the CFL. This isn't even about Ron Paul.
This is about your personal view of 9/11.

Doctors are trained to not confront crazy people about their psychoses directly. You've got to lead them gently into the world of the sane. Not take a hammer to their delusions.

Well actually I jumped in here because truthers demanding that mainstream media people be ostracized caused my irony-meter to overload.
