Tucker Carlson on Ron Paul 2012

The last thing we need is carlson talking or supporting Ron Paul. The stupid bastard showed up in Vegas with a couple of call girls in 2008 to "support" Ron Paul.

Disagree--the LAST thing we need is more MSM coverage of the newsletters

My guess is that there was a big "BUT" that came right after those statements.

Tucker's okay!

tucker is a lair, scum and a few more things. He has been attacking ron paul. I am sure someone here will pull the youtube up but i have heard that liar talk bad about ron paul on various tv shows. HE is SCUM.

I heard him the other day talking crap about ron paul on msm. He should be tarred and feathered.

Everything I have seen from Tucker on Paul has been fair and complimentary. People need to lighten up on some of the MSM. Not all of them are establishment shills.

tucker was the emcee in rally for the republic 2008 september.he left because he didnt like the 'truthers' who were there.yes, liberty is a large tent -we will get disagreements

That didn`t sound very libertarian.

Tucker knows one thing very well after having worked in mainstream media and being involved in high level politics, which is "Esse est percipi". Perception is everything in this world, while the truth is something very hard to reach.
A big number of americans think thruthers are conspiracy nuts, plain and simple. I won`t argue whether the claim is valid or not. It`s not relevant.

What`s relevant is that most people won`t take libertarians and Ron Paul seriously by promoting such theories. What we all want is to get Ron Paul elected and we won`t be able to do it by promoting speculative, unproven theories to the general public. It will just discredit other good ideas.

Think about it this way. You go to the grocery store and buy some eggs. You go home to make an omlet and you notice 1st egg you break is rotten and foul. It will just make you dump all the other eggs in the basket without checking them.

Mixed feelings about Tucker Carlson. He's always got something fairly positive to say about Dr. Paul- which is great. That said Tucker always strikes me as the kid in high school that's found a great new indie rock band that he doesn't want everyone else to find out about and he wants to stay small so only he and a few other select folks can enjoy them. It's like he always follows up his Dr. Paul comments with: "It's great that he's gaining attention BUUUUT I don't think most people really understand what Dr. Paul wants to do with the country- and if they did- they probably wouldn't support him (i.e. only truly enlightened Libertarian Conservatives like myself can sit around, pat ourselves on the back for voting for Dr. Paul in '88, and appreciate a theoretical Ron Paul Republic over some brandies and Cuban cigars in the library of our fine Washington DC dinner club)."

Whatever the case- at least he discusses Dr. Paul- and is usually very positive about him...

WOW I didn't even realize it until I read this, but this is EXACTLY what it seems like. I couldn't express it, i didn't have the right analogy but yea. This is precisely the feeling I get from him. Thank you! that was the perfect analogy.

Haha. I only partially agree but have to +rep that creative image you`ve just painted.

Has Daily Caller been at least fair to Ron?

If you think so, jump off this guy's back.

Haha. Thank you! Funny- I really wasn't sure how to express it either for the longest time- but for whatever reason when I responded to this thread it all just flowed!!! :)

LOL! Thank you! :)

And to be clear- at the very end of the day I think Tucker's a pretty good guy and helpful to the revolution overall...
