Trump’s Latest Tariff Plan Just Replaces One Tax with Another

Don't worry, most of the libertarians out there are getting the message.

In this case, it was Kamala doing a campaign event with Liz Cheney.. Dave finally had enough a said "$#@! it"

A rejection of obviously horrible Kamla Harris isn't the same as an endorsement of every idea floated by Trump.

That would come as a great surprise to Ron Paul who has endorsed Trump's plan to replace the Income Tax with Tariffs.

No it wouldn't, since Ron Paul also hates tariffs.

Accepting tariffs in exchange for total elimination of the income tax is not support of tariffs in and of themselves. And Trump does not have any plan to do that. Trump's plan is to keep the income tax, and also increase tariffs.

Ron doesn't hate tariffs, he considers them the best form of taxation and recognizes that some degree of taxation is required for the legitimate functions of government.
He hates excessive taxation of any kind, and I'm sure he dislikes the necessity of any kind of taxation.
He doesn't hate tariffs.

And Trump has most specifically said he wants to get rid of the income tax and replace it with tariffs.

Ron Paul also pretty much hates trade agreements. In the current economic and political environment, getting rid of trade agreements would have very similar effects to the American consumer, which is what most people seem to be whinging about when it comes to tariffs. (But what about my cheap plastic shit! You're gonna make it cost more!)

Please provide the quote from Ron Paul saying they are the best form of taxation.

Please provide the quote from Donald Trump saying he wants to get rid of the income tax.
Rather than taxing personal income, which he says assumes that the government owns individuals' lives and labor, he prefers the federal government to be funded through excise taxes and/or uniform, non-protectionist tariffs.[SUP][17]

So you have no support for either of your claims.

Geez, Matt... Every thread??

Yes, every thread, especially where it is relevant.

If you don’t like it, or it hurts your feelings, move on, and stop sounding like a lib who tries to silence others just because you don’t like what you hear.
