Trump says he understands why Rand would do this, says he's a sitting Senator, respectable figure, makes sense that he wouldn't want to be denigrated like that.

...he also says that it doesn't matter for Rand at this point, he should focus on his Senate seat.

There will be times in the debate that Don is going to wish Rand was there.

AFAIK the worst Trump has said about Rand is the way Rand asked Trump to donate money to the school that funds his pro bono surgery trips to South America and then he started attacking Trump when he got back from his trip. I think Trump actually thinks fairly well of him if not for his attacks.
