Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis admitted that it took him longer to fully re-open the state of Florida than former President Donald Trump recommended during the COVID-19 pandemic, archive video from the Governor’s social media has revealed.

Last month, DeSantis attacked Trump’s record on COVID after the former President called the Governor of Florida’s pandemic response “average.” However, at the height of the pandemic in 2020, DeSantis accepted that he didn’t listen to the White House’s advice, keeping Florida closed for longer than was necessary.

“When we announced phase one, we followed the White House’s guidelines, but we didn’t even do everything they said we could do in Phase 1… so it was a limited Phase 1, it was a safe Phase 1, it was a smart step, but it was done step by step,” DeSantis argued.

Phase 1 meant that restaurants, barber shops, and retail stores, among others, could only open to 50 percent capacity.

Indeed, Florida was one of the later Republican states to lift lockdown restrictions. In fact, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alaska, Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, Indiana, Montana, South Carolina, and Texas all began opening up before DeSantis’s home state.

CTH has said for a year the Achilles heel Ron DeSantis carries, the weak spot that outlines his neocon nature, becomes extremely visible on the subject of Ukraine.

Twice previously, DeSantis has tried to walk the tightrope and navigate his lies surrounding the Ukraine war. Each time he outlines something that leans toward Ukraine needing to concede to Russia and NATO needing to stop meddling on Russia borders, he immediately walks back his comments. DeSantis is stuck on the issue of Ukraine because DeSantis cannot be honest about his position on Ukraine.

Today in South Carolina [Forbes got the state wrong in the title] the issue of Ukraine surfaced in a public Q&A (video below), and both times DeSantis ducked, obfuscated, distracted and refused to answer the question. The second person asked more directly, “What are you going to do about the war in Ukraine?”, because DeSantis never answered the first questioner. WATCH [prompted to 01:08:23]

Only Donald Trump has the solution to the Ukraine war. (1) Stop NATO, namely U.S. created, from provoking nonsense antagonisms on Russia’s border; and (2) Force Zelenskyy to the negotiation table of reality. The Ukraine war stops immediately the day after the 2024 election, if Trump wins.

However, Ron DeSantis cannot take that attitude or foreign policy approach. DeSantis must maintain the approved Republican pro-war narrative as outlined by Democrats, Republicans, UniParty, and the DC political leadership writ large. The DC position on the Ukraine war is all about money; DeSantis must maintain that policy.

Florida reopened around the same time other red state governors began to reopen their states. By May 2020, there was liberal outrage that Missouri allowed massive Memorial Day parties during the “pandemic.” Trump never criticized Missouri Governor Parson for having his state open in May 2020 or any other Governor who opened their state around that time.

Finding it hard to believe DeSantis voters would vote for Biden in a general election. Most likely they are going to end up staying home and not voting. They'd rather spite Trump that way instead of voting for Democrats.

Remember, Trump nearly doubled the size of government in 4 years and is the biggest contributor to the current price inflation we are experiencing. It's obnoxious when trump supporters try to blame biden for that.

You have to give Trump an F on the economy for that.

On the other hand nobody is going to stop spending until we go into an inflationary depression. And trump seems like he might be better on the most important issue right now and that's avoiding getting us incinerated.

That's exactly how TPTB orchestrate it. RNC, DNC. Communism, Fascism. The Globalist Agenda.

Meanwhile, true liberty candidates will never ever be on a National Ballot.

Swordsmyth, do you still want me to "pick", for "the sake" of this country?

Too bad Trump wants us incinerated.

Everyone should pick the option that will get the best results.

Congress did it and Biden made it much worse.

Perhaps. But YOU, like the privately run RNC/DNC, give the false illusion that:

You only have 2 choices. Pick.

Get this straight: I don't support Communists or FASCISTS.

To heal the divide, and educate the People how it can actually be reined in, without spending $8.18 TRILLION and Funding the Globalists - win or lose I opt for RFK Jr.
