Nobody is talking about this and least not on this forum, but the Trump administration recently admitted that Social Security is broke as in by 2035 retiries will only get 80% of the benefits. That's because there's not enough babies being born to keep the Ponzi scheme afloat. MASSIVE immigration could offset that but right wing fears about white people no longer being the majority, regardless of who the minorities might be that would make up the new non white majority, is blocking that. When the arrival of 20,000 Haitians LOWERED Springfield Ohio's per capita crime rate, lies were made up about them eating cats and dogs. The Asians are seen as a threat to white tech workers. The Latinos are supposedly all MS13 or TDA. And white people would rather live in black majority South Africa than come to America. (Despite Tucker Carlson's incessant lies about white genocide in South Africa, of the 4.5 million white South Africans only 67,000 of them supposedly want to come to the U.S. and so far on 400 have actually come.
So there will be no quick fix for Social Security. More people than ever, white and black, are on SNAP. Trump just found the power of threatening SNAP to get what he wants through Congress. Eventually more painful things will happen to course correct. Eventually there will be food riots. And it won't just be (current) poor people rioting.

I don't see any scenario where it will ever be politically feasible for Congress to pass a reduction of SS benefits.
The form that the federal government's defaulting of its financial obligations will take will not be austerity, it will be continuation of the method that it's already using, which is devaluation of the dollar. They will pay the amounts they promised by printing however much money it takes. The government promised retirees a certain number of dollars, and it will give them those dollars. But the government didn't make any promises about what those dollars will be worth.

Every member of any military hierarchy has to "make their own determination about what is acceptable and what is not" every time they receive an order. Every. Single. Time.
This is not changed by the fact that usually that decision is made with little conscious reflection. Obedience is always a choice.

While I'm against the jab orders what's being discussed now is a whole different level of evil. If a soldier decides to take/not take the jab that's just affects him. If a soldier decides to fire/not fire on a speedboat that's been accused without evidence of carrying fentynal / Branch Davidian compound / U.S. citizen who has been accused of terrorism but not given a fair trial / innocent Vietnamese villiage / Doctors without borders hospital, a LOT more people are affected.
Well actually theyve consistently taken steps to ensure they will be worth less ea yr especially in past 25 yrs. Weve had 100 yrs of inflation in past five yrs. 1921 8 lbs of pot roat 1.00 , 2019 32.00 , 2025 65.00 on sale

It took me a few minutes to decipher this. But now that I have, how is this not what I said?
Id say it is what you said. If they promised you 2k Im thinking youll get 2k , itll just buy 1k of what it would've a year or two or three prior. Its just paper and the printer doesnt stop
