He even announced a $1776 bonus for the people in the military which I think is really nice. People in the military do a dangerous job and probably should get a bonus for doing good work.

Whats great about the United States is that we have seperation of church and state. That's what Thomas Jefferson argued for and its why he is on the 2 dollar bill.
