TRUMP slams Ted Cruz for missing important vote to audit Fed

Heh, sometimes I wonder if it isn't all worked out a week ahead as to what the vote is going to be.

It typically is, maybe not a week but well before. What happens on the floor is almost never a surprise. The whips call around to get the votes and totals are kept.

It would have failed by 6 votes even if Cruz was there that was know well in advance. I believe if it was going to pass, Cruz would have showed to vote.

I think Cruz would be more likely to audit the fed than Trump. Trump will tell you whatever you want to hear. But whatever, I really don't care much anymore, this election is a disaster.

That is not true. There were 4 Democrats that were going to support it. As I recall with Ted's vote they would've been short one vote. So I'm not sure if there was a 5th dem or that the vote was missed by 6 and not seven, or maybe they were two short. Regardless it wasn't over till the fat lady sang and Ted decided to be that fat lady.

Well bitch slap me one end and down the other, but looking at this field? I have to vote for Trump, lol. The man has some balls. Can you imagine coming out days before the South Carolina debate, saying George Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in order to bring us to war. What really sucks is that Rand, being such a novice, decided to attack Trump in the first debates. If Rand had shown some respect, he would still be in the race, and possibly the VP candidate. Now that no Paul is in the election, Trump is a man after my heart. He is an authoritarian bastard, to a certain extent. But so are they all.. The others bring about their tyranny in the darkness of night, as we sleep. Trump was on Infowars weeks ago, he will audit the Fed. He and Rand have a number of similar positions ... anti war. Rand would have been perfect running mate..

No. We do not want the liberty movement associated with the likes of Trump.

What about auditing the Fed? Did he even know about this vote when it happened? Or any of the previous Fed audit votes?

It's not my concern where the man has been but where he is, and right now, he is the best candidate in the race.

Rand could be a great Vice-President for this country. Some of us care more about the country than we do massaging the egos of the precious snowflakes in "the liberty movement."

The liberty movement can't even win a state primary. It can't even get a government department dissolved at the federal level. It does well for education purposes, but as a political movement it's an utter failure. So yes, you make a valid argument and it's not all about selling out.

Explain exactly how Trump would be good for the country. I like what electing him represents (the rejection of the establishment against their wishes), so I'd like to see him win over the others just for the people to feel like "anything is possible" in the future (including actually electing a liberty candidate). But the man himself is absolute trash.

Trump the ultimate mudslinger, he can do whatever he wants because there will always be a crazy thing he will say next week to refresh the news cycle.

Trump is an excellent salesmen. He just sells himself as the product that will make your hopes and dreams come true. People buy it. Even people on this forum are buying it. He is the GOP version of Obama in 2008.

Remember, Obama talked about possible war crime investigations against George W Bush.

It is all a big act. Stop using emotions and see things for what they are. No one in this political field is their to make your life better.

Trump is an excellent salesmen...
I think not.

I see this posted quite often. But I don't buy it.

I don't see anything "excellent" about the dictator wannabe.

In fact, I don't see anything even "good" about him. Everything I see about him sucks.

But hey, that's just me.

I think you've got it right. He is the Republican version of Obama. He'll be anything you want him to be until elected.

People are projecting what they want in a candidate on Trump despite having very little evidence that he will actually do what they believe he will do. My only hope is this will be a wake-up call to Congress to take back its power that has been given away.

Still, it is a good thing that we have our likely next president saying that we should audit the fed. Ron Paul started this ball rolling and now look where we are.

Thank you Dr. Paul!

Absolutely correct.

The education campaign might slowly be starting to work.

Rafael is a fraud, owned by Goldman Sachs

he has been manipulating us for years, of course he wasn't there to vote to audit the fed, even Marco Rubio can find the time to be there and vote for it but Cruz can't? Totally intentional.

**** Rafael

Might want to read some of his books, Trump is and has always been a hard money guy. Heck, Roger Stone - former campaign chief to Trump - told Alex Jones that Trump will surprise allot of folks with his views on Gold and the FED.

Can you quote the lines from his books you're talking about?

I guess you've fallen for the "lying" trap, something that both Trump and Cruz specialize in.

Show me where I say Ted Cruz is "my guy" or "trustworthy". Believe me, you will not find it anywhere.

On a scale of 1 to 100 on trustworthiness, Trump is a 1 and Cruz is a 2.

Well if 1 is good then Trump is nearly perfect...........:)
