That was going to be the same trip where he was going to have a state visit with Denmark- he cancelled that stop after Denmark laughed at his suggestion they sell him Greenland. Poland had a royal castle all set up for Trump.

President Donald Trump spent several hours Saturday at his private golf club in Northern Virginia, receiving updates on the approach of Hurricane Dorian to the U.S. East Coast, after canceling a visit to Poland to monitor the storm’s progress.
The president traveled to Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, by helicopter early Saturday after spending the night at Camp David, the rustic presidential retreat in northern Maryland. He returned to Camp David after about 4 1/2 hours, and had a late-afternoon briefing on Dorian, a Category Four hurricane.
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said Trump traveled Saturday with an official from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and received hourly updates. She later tweeted that Trump had, as planned, received a briefing on Dorian at Camp David.
The White House doesn’t routinely confirm Trump’s golf games although it sometimes releases the names of his playing partners. Photos of Trump golfing will appear on social media from time to time. The presidential press pool, which was not at Camp David, spent much of Saturday at a location near the golf club.
Trump tweeted about Dorian at 10 a.m., reflecting the latest forecasts in saying “South Carolina could get hit MUCH harder” from the storm, which earlier had zeroed in on Florida.
He also warned Alabama about the hurricane- despite the weather service saying there is no threat to Alabama.

Trump again mentioned Alabama during a hurricane briefing by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as he was advising American citizens in Dorian's path to heed the warnings and evacuation orders from local authorities.
"It may get a little piece of a great place — it's called Alabama, and Alabama could even be in for at least some very strong winds," Trump said. "This just came up, unfortunately. It's the size of the storm that we're talking about. So for Alabama, please be careful also."
Despite Trump's insistence, forecasters stressed that Dorian currently is not expected to pose a threat to Alabama.
"Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian. We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama. The system will remain too far east," the National Weather Service station in Birmingham tweeted.

President Trump took time Saturday to play a round of golf on his Virginia course despite the Category 5 Hurricane Dorian on track to pummel the southeast coast.
Trump was scheduled to be at Camp David in Maryland preparing for the hurricane but traveled to his Sterling, Virginia golf course by helicopter, which took a little more than four hours.
Trump has so far played golf 212 times while in office.
