I really don't get why people attack the supporters instead of the candidate? Attacking the supporters is counterproductive for getting them to the Rand side.

Anyone can respond to reason,..... but it's really all in the approach. There is some serious psychology to this and it is a tactic that I have used on my children over the years which has proved it's weight in gold.

If you want someone to REALLY listen to you..... 1) Don't put them on the defensive before or during the delivery of your message. 2) Treat their opinions as important, even if you don't agree with them.

Its ok...really it is. There is nothing these fellas can tell me that i don't already know. Its a shame Rand chose such a piss poor campaign strategy ...pretty much DOA when the debates started...my fault ?...hardly !...

I supported Ron the 3 times he ran...bland Rand just doesn't do it for me...sorry. He lost the message, lost his way, tried to hold hands with establishment tools like McConnell ( who would have never went along with a Rand POTUS anyway no matter how much ass kissing)...wasn't hard to leave Rand behind at all. At least Trump so far has blown a hole in the big lie they call PC . That is more than Rand has done right there and he isn't even president yet. All those establishment pecker-heads to go after and he went after Trump....major turnoff....a little hint, you wont shame me in to submission. I'm much more strong willed than a bunch of butt hurts that have ran half the people off that used to be on this site...;)

Is Trump a solution to all our problems? Of course not! That said, he is already moving things that need to be moved and bringing issues back to the forefront that our dear leaders didn't want to discuss . He is moving things in the right direction and that is better than a big FAT ZERO....

I've complained about Rand "losing the message" as much as anyone over the last few years. If I wasn't able to stomach it, my choice would have been not to vote at all. Not jump to the modern day Mussolini. That doesn't make much sense to me at all.

Now, if the message was never important to you, which I assume is the case here, then sure it makes sense. But don't complain about his message then. Complain that he doesn't want to kill enough brown people, or that he doesn't talk tough enough, or whatever other idiocy draws people to Trump.

Yep and that is exactly what is happening not only here but out side of this forum. They are doing the opposite of what Miss Annie describes below then bitch and moan they are unable to convert people to their candidate. They may as well be campaigning for Trump with their silly attacks on not only Trump supporters but those who simply agree with a particular policy or do not buy into some ridiculous media narrative about Trump.

The funniest thing about RPF these days is people here are attacking policies that Rand and Ron support if Trump supports the policy. I never thought I would see the day here of so many people coming out for gun control just because Trump is against it. They are even attacking parts of Trump's immigration policy that overlap with Rand's and Ron's.

you are done here. Trump is an authoritarian who does not give one shit about the rule of law or the constitution.

the presidential oath of office is to defend the constitution, not anything else. Trump is a clown and anyone who supports him most likely supported Ron to be a contrarian.
