Trump Overrules Sessions: Promises To Protect States' Pot Legalization Rights

The GOP needs to get out in front of this. Why in God's name they're letting the Democrats take credit for this is beyond reason.

Not in God's name, it's the lobbyist preventing the GOP from any legalization. Prescription drug makers, alcohol industry, private prison. and police unions are throwing enough money at lawmakers, that it won't even be rescheduled lower than a class 1 drug, let alone legalized.

Cuz politics.

I told y'all months ago exactly how it was going to happen. It's another symptom of Uncle Sugar's money printer slowly drying up.

Once you accept that the global dollar standard is almost over, you have to accept that the money printer slows down. That means that the states will have to have new avenues for revenue and job creation. Practically everything coming out of DC right now is related to this, even if some other cover story is given.

That would make sense if the Democrats weren't also being lobbied.

Lobbyist don't care about party. The Democrats and Republican line up at the same trough. Republicans are first in line because they have a majority. If the majority shifts so will the money flow.
