In part two of Republican candidate for president Donald Trump’s town hall with Sean Hannity, scheduled to air tonight on Fox News, it seems Mr. Trump will finally clarify his position on amnesty. For the worse.

Speaking on what to do with non-violent illegal aliens, Trump said that under his plan they will “pay back-taxes” and that it would be a “very hard thing” to “throw them and their family out.”

-Donald Trump on Sean Hannity August 24, 2016, Excerpt:

No citizenship. Let me go a step further- they'll pay back-taxes, they have to pay taxes, there's no amnesty, as such, there's no amnesty, but we work with them. Now, everybody agrees we get the bad ones out. But when I go though and meet thousands and thousands of people on the subject, and I've had very strong people come up to me, and they've said, 'Mr. Trump, I love you, but to take a person who's been here for 15 or 20 years and throw them and their family out, it's so tough, Mr. Trump,' I have it all the time! It's a very, very hard thing.

Having illegal immigrants pay a fine and back taxes to stay in the country was the policy proposed in the Gang of Eight amnesty bill! Further, that is the position on amnesty once held by former candidate for the Republican nomination for president Jeb Bush. "I think for the eleven or twelve million people here illegally, they should come out from the shadows, they should pay a fine, they should pay taxes, they should work," Bush said in an interview back in October of 2015. He famously, or infamously, drew fire from conservative critics for referring to illegal immigrants crossing the southern border illegally as an “act of love.” "A great country ought to know where those folks are and politely ask them to leave," he said, adding later that properly targeting people who overstay visas "would restore people's confidence" in the nation's immigration system. "There are means by which we can control our border better than we have. And there should be penalties for breaking the law," he added. "But the way I look at this -- and I'm going to say this, and it'll be on tape and so be it. The way I look at this is someone who comes to our country because they couldn’t come legally, they come to our country because their families -- the dad who loved their children -- was worried that their children didn’t have food on the table. And they wanted to make sure their family was intact, and they crossed the border because they had no other means to work to be able to provide for their family. Yes, they broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family. I honestly think that that is a different kind of crime that there should be a price paid, but it shouldn’t rile people up that people are actually coming to this country to provide for their families."

Now that Trump himself has proposed non-violent illegal aliens be allowed to remain in the United States after paying fines in the form of “back taxes,” is Mr. Trump’s plan substantially different from Mr. Bush’s? Or the Gang of Eight bill's?

I can't stop laughing at the stupidity of it all!

Trump supporters have been bought and sold.... they could have nominated someone ACTUALLY ELECTABLE and be beating Hillary by double digits... but no.... they wanted their white nationalist utopia!

I can hear their dreams shattering through my screen...... and I can't stop laughing.

Trump has no core. He has no principles. He has no morals. He has no compass.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor, trumpkins.... enjoy it good and hard.

If only we didn't have to be stuck with the fruits of their labor as well. :(

And some people here owe those of us who called this early an apology. With each passing day more and more absolute proof is coming straight from the mouth of Trump himself that Trump is supporting when he and his supporters decried as amnesty just months ago. Oh.....but some have moved the goalpost to say "Well as long as they aren't given citizenship it's not amnesty." Bull! If that's the case than even Rubio was not proposing amnesty! Rand certainly wasn't. Neither was Cruz.

What makes this utterly disgusting is immigration was the issue that caused Trump supporters to overlook his obvious flaws. Trump wants to weaken the GOP position on abortion? But he's against amnesty. Trump supported the bailouts? But he's against amnesty. Trump supports eminent domain for private business? But he's against amnesty. Trump has flip flopped on the 2nd amendment? But he supports amnesty. Trump's had some shady business practices? But he's against amnesty. Trump said he didn't even apologize to God? But he's against amnesty. Trump bragged about seducing other men's wives? But he's against amnesty. Good decent people like Rand Paul, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz were slimed by Trump and his supporters and it was all good because....he's against amnesty. Only he's not really against amnesty. At least not as it was once defined by Trump and his supporters. Goodness every time I think about this I want to hurl!

This should be the new banner.

I can hold him accountable. All you can do is bleat since you never supported him in the first place.

I wanted to support him until I found out how unprincipled and statist he was. I do support 9/11 truth after all and Trump has been beating that drum more than any other candidate. But I can't support a candidate who things fascism (the government forcing you to sell your land to a private entity for example) is "great." I can't support someone who said in his book "The America You Deserve" that we should have "sensible gun control" like an assault weapons ban and then more recently said that he thought we should use the terror watch list to keep people from owning guns. I can't support someone who thinks it's okay to kill someone just because his father is a rapist.

But here's what's interesting. You never supporter Hillary Clinton right? So that means that you can't hold her accountable? The only people who have a right to complain about her corruption and her bat guano crazy policy positions are people who once supporter her? You really believe that? I doubt it but that's what you basically just said WRT to Trump.

Trump is clearly using analogy and euphemism.

Trump-haters are so dim sometimes.

Supporting Trump is about securing a portion of the policy pie (as opposed to securing nothing of it) and obstructing the globalists. Even if Trump gets in, he will still have to deal with other two captured branches. This is relative noise in the whole scheme of things.

Step 1: jump into vat of unknown liquid
Step 2: remove lumberjacks
Step 3: get a piece of policy pie
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Liberty!

Yeah, it's because the people who have bought the con will stupidly continue to refuse to see that they've been conned. Sad, really.

The people who actually believe the MAGA sales slogan fell for an aspect of the con. America has 200 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities and a huge anti-liberty demographic bomb about to go off. I doubt Jesus himself could save the US from it's own self-inflicted demise.

With that said, the people who are pushing Trump as a 'shock to the system' catalyst know what's going on. In contrast, some of the liberty people have offered no viable 'real world' solution to the coming Armageddon, other than to lay down and inaugurate Hillary Clinton. They are dead to me.

How does a guy caving on amnesty bring a 'shock to the system'?
