President Trump’s EPA is cleaning house and will fire or reassign hundreds of workers involved in Marxist ‘environmental justice’ and DEI programs.
Joe Biden used the EPA to fund Marxist pet projects. In 2024, Biden’s EPA announced $1.6 billion in ‘environmental and climate justice community change grants.’
Biden’s EPA also secretly sheltered $20 billion at Citibank to be later disbursed to 8 far-left green ‘nonprofits.’
The Trump Administration is working to claw back the funds and dismantle the DEI programs.
Last month, the EPA announced it had terminated the Biden Administration’s Environmental Justice and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion arms of the agency.
“President Trump was elected with a mandate from the American people. Part of this mandate includes the elimination of forced discrimination programs,” said EPA Chief Lee Zeldin. “Under the Trump Administration, EPA is affirming our commitment to serve every American with equal dignity and respect.”
“Some believe that so-called ‘environmental justice’ is warranted to assist communities that have been left behind. This idea sounds good in theory and receives bipartisan support. But in reality, ‘environmental justice’ has been used primarily as an excuse to fund left-wing activists instead of actually spending those dollars to directly remediate environmental issues for those communities,” Zeldin added.
