Recounting isolated -- but widely publicized -- incidents of thieves staging brazen daylight robberies of shops in major cities, Trump got a loud cheer when he said police should become "extraordinarily rough."
Criminals, he said, "have to be taught" and this could be done "if you had one really violent day."
"One rough hour -- and I mean real rough -- the word would get out and it would end immediately," Trump said.
"The police aren't allowed to do their job" because "the liberal left won't let them."

More "qualified immunity" shenanigans (and in this case, there already is "clearly established" case law, and it still didn't matter to these clowns in gowns):

And very well could end up in the Supreme Court.
@ 1:14: "... the 5thc Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that a SWAT commander couldn't have known that he had to make sure he had the correct house before ordering a raid on a house."
@ 3:55: "... the lieutenant [...] admits that his raid violated the 4th Amendment rights of [the family, yet] a three-judge panel of the 5th Circuit still held that he's immune from accountability."
@ 7:03: "The panel's decision departs from previous 5th Circuit precedent and four other circuit courts that have ruled that [Maryland v.] Garrison, a Supreme Court case, is the law of the land and should be followed."
And yet ...
Trump demands [more ?] immunity for police

An Oklahoma City police officer pulled over Canadian County (OK) Sheriff Chris West for speeding (outside of Canadian County). Almost immediately, he recognizes Sheriff West, who proceeds to demand special treatment, ultimately lecturing – and perhaps threatening/intimidating – the officer, who only gave him a warning. He just happens to be one of the sheriffs who were just with President Trump in the White House a couple of months ago, and also the same sheriff who has long operated a cash seizure trap on his highways that seizes cash from law-abiding Americans.

Update-JUDGE Dismisses Murder Charges Against Former MI Trooper

{Southern Drawl Law | 17 June 2025}
In this video, Criminal Defense Attorney James White, discusses the criminal prosecution of former Michigan trooper Brian Keeley for the murder of Samuel Sterling, exploring the intersection of law enforcement, politics, and legal immunity. He reflects on his previous misconceptions regarding the impact of federal policies on local law enforcement and the implications of a recent ruling that dismissed charges against Keeley based on Supremacy Clause immunity. The conversation raises concerns about accountability in the legal system and the potential for abuse of power by law enforcement under federal protection.
