I listened to that whole thing and want that time back.
Here's the short take:
America WILL NOT compete. We WILL, however, CONQUER you and every nation on earth because WE have the MIC and I am going to GROW it even larger! But we can still be friends.

Trump's New York moxie schtick he does when trying to sound tough. 
Do Trump fans actually connect with that? Just a string of endless bullshit.
All he said was:
"No, it's not a deal, they said please don't bomb us anymore and we're not gonna attack your ships.'"
"They don't wanna be bombed anymore. I sorta thought that would happen."
The history of the Yemen war goes back 10 years. We've been bombing them through the Saudis for many of those years including while Trump was president the first time. The administration just approved another 3.5 billion dollar missile sale so the head chopping Saudi Izrahell bootlickers, can keep bombing the Shia Houthis.
Why war? Same thing as always. Our puppet got kicked out by rebels (who knows if they are grassroots or not, that requires another layer of investigations) after a failed "Arab Spring" so "they gotz ta gooooo."
....plus it serves Israel to simply destroy countries infrastructure.

Everything Trump does is to pretend that "he" is a neutral guy just trying to make peace. But, in my opinion, this is just pandering to the base. This way when he says, "I tried to make peace, but they don't want peace" all his zombie followers can shriek at the rest of us who still have brains "TERRORIST SUPPORTERS!"

According to Yemen America is the one that asked for terms ("parley"). And according to Yemen, Americans were unwilling (he says "helpless") to protect Israeli ships and have agreed not to support the Israelis as long as Yeman agrees not to attack. They say they don't trust the American's so they'll be watching, and if they continue to support Israel they'll resume bombing.
And Trump said?
"Oh, they must a got tired of the hurtin' we were putting on them, so they begged for mercy."

Who am I supposed to believe? To be honest I don't trust either one. But I'm only certain that Trump is definitely a liar.

We lost a few of them reportedly. A bunch of stressed out naval crew working an extended deployment crashed them. They even crashed the aircraft carrier.And they expect us to believe they took down a F-18
Those nimitz class aircraft carriers are being retired though for the Ford class and so will the F-18 once the new 6th generation FA-XX program gets chosen.
If we don't use them they just eventually become obsolete and they get replaced. Might as well use the USS Truman and F-18 for what we built them for.

According to the Houthi they sunk the USS Truman a half dozen times.
The navy just keeps resurrecting her I guess.
