Trump, Cruz, Rubio...or Democrat?

We have no even halfway decent options for 2016. Many of us will vote for the LP or CP nominee, do a write in, or (I will not endorse this one) stay home instead of voting. For the Primaries, I would hope that we are all still Standing with Rand.

But the reality is, Rubio, Cruz, Trump, Bernie, or Hillary is going to win the Presidency.

Rubio: Neocon Pureblood/Establishment Lapdog/Superhawk

Trump: Basically George Lincoln Rockwell (less classly)

Cruz: Constitutionally Ineligible/Traitor to Liberty Movement/Slimey Liar/Glenn Beck

Bernie: Marxist Piece of Shit

Clinton: Neocon Pureblood/Criminal/Establishment Lapdog/Superhawk

Just wow. Nevertheless, one will win. There are a few ways of thinking about this.

1. While noting how terrible they all are, we want to do damage control by hoping that the least worst person wins (like you can determine that haha).

2. We purposely hope that the absolute worst person wins, hoping for the destruction of the entire system. Maybe we can then emerge from the rubble on top.

3. We silently hope that someone who the Liberty Movement can draw a clear contrast with, wins, that way we can create a coalition between pissed off sheeple and the Liberty Movement for 2020.

4. We just surrender the movement. It's a sinking ship.


I'm a big fan of 2 and 3. And from that perspective, we have quite a few amazing options to choose from.

But I understand that not everyone shares my cynical, jaded approach to this. So please, feel free to inform everyone your ideas and why they would be advantageous to the Liberty Movement and for our chances in 2020 .

This is not call for endorsements, or for talking good about statists. Simply, it's a question of reality. Someone is going to win, so who can we use most effectively to advance our cause?

I think this is the discussion that we should be having, rather than just re-confirming to ourselves how terrible of a position we are in right now. But by all means, feel free to give your perspective below.

Very rational. Recognize option 4, flee, try to have a free life somewhere else.

I'd be willing to bet that we could live in a 3rd world dictatorship, and still be more free than we are in America.

True, if I don't do a write in....that is exactly what I personally intend on doing.

I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror or be able to sleep at night having voted for tyranny. I'd rather die.
