Exactly what I said would happen, why I said it on this thread:
Prosecutor hasn't even taken up case yet - if ever - Lewandowski

16 Cruz-Supporting Female Reporters that Sought to Destroy Trump Campaign Manager

16 Reporters, sworn to be unbiased in their professional careers and objective in their statements, were quick to condemn an innocent man - who wasn't even guilty under the law, nor indicted, nor had the case even been reviewed by the prosecutor - and which would have amounted to an interpretation of the law that would have made everyone guilty of it unintentionally at some time or other.
Demanding an unowned apology, it is very doubtful that any of them will now apologize. As the list from the article above shows, almost all of them are cruz supporters - and it has clouded their judgements.
I don't recall Ron Paul ever going through anything like this - where his campaign manager is assailed with false charges. (I think Rand might have though?). It's true that Ron Paul went through an awful lot. There is no doubts that there was even worse cheating with Ron Paul all over the place, and where Trump was cheated in Louisiana - we were too, but we had a guy go to the hospital too - it was really bad. Nevertheless, the hysterics seem to have reached a higher pitch - perhaps because a non-establishment candidate has gotten further and looks like he could win? False charges against a campaign manager is a new low.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign manager will not be prosecuted on a charge of misdemeanor battery over allegations he grabbed the arm of a reporter, the campaign confirmed late Wednesday.
Trump campaign social media director Dan Scavino posted on his Facebook page that the charge would not be pressed against Corey Lewandowski.
The decision not to prosecute Lewandowski was first reported by Politico. Palm Beach County State Attorney David Aronberg was scheduled to formally announce his decision on Thursday afternoon.
...
Mike Edmonson, Aronberg's executive assistant, denied leaking the information to the media, but added that the initial report that Lewandowski would not be prosecuted was "not incorrect."
