Total turn around of TV ads

Lots of us got drawn to Ron Paul because of the youtube videos.

So why not have small TV ads directing viewers to certain youtube videos?

Heck even newspaper ads..

I said time and time again we should have a few videos play late at night. I'm talking like a 30min block of air time or whatever at night when its cheap. People will see it. People need to hear Dr. Paul speak for an extented period of time.

And I've been saying forever that Grassroots should make the ads. The campaign stuff is same old same old. There is so much talent in grassroots. Liason needs to improve between GR and HQ.

I really agree with this, he needs ads that grab attention, not make people turn the channel. he should get an add firm imo.

All he needs to do is to get his face on television for even 30 seconds. Almost all of the ads that the official campaign has released do not feature Ron Paul - not even a voiceover from Ron Paul. No one will vote for someone they don't know with a certain familiarity, no matter how much they want to agree with his position.

Ron Paul's anonymity is what's killing him more than anything else.

I think it would be really effective to have youtube videos played on tv, not just the videos. Make it look like youtube on tv. It would tell people about Ron Paul, and show them that they can find more on youtube.

I dunno, maybe this is a stupid idea but what if we had an ad contest on this forum and the winner receives some moola from a chipin. I'd give a few bucks to the winner, and I think many people here would too if it was a great video.

I know that no one on this board functions on greed, hence our extreme dedication to Ron Paul, but it might be a good incentive for some quality commercial making and time invested?

How 'bout it? Best 30 second ad contest? Once the winner is selected we blitz the RP campaign with OUR selected video and worst case, air it ourselves if they are unreceptive...
