Oh the blowback!

I have a question, though. What do these people actually believe that Iran has done to the US in particular to warrant such an aggressive act? Sat around building their little nukes? Meanwhile Israel keeps screaming, "They want to wipe us out!" Why would Iran attack anyone? They know that they'll get the tar kicked out of them by whomever they attack!
 
this is a bizarre mass psychological reaction to the horrid failure of the war in iraq. They are trying to pretend that Iraq didn't wekaen us, that we can still call the shots and that the iraq war was justified. It's insanity, real insanity

And even more so, if that poll is correct, Americans support that insanity - whats that tell us.. the people of this country are fucking crazy! More than half support bombing the shit out of a nation that has done nothing to us.
 
they support it passively the same way they supported iraq passively because it's being presented as if it would be the easiest thing in the world and of benefit to the people of iran.

All our pretty constitutional or economic arguments get washed away in the tidal wave of the newly roused rabble, whose basic paradigms of "we're acting in self defense" or "we're helping them"never gets challenged. Liberty will keep getting rolled, unless we reject the set-ups that punctuate the false presentations of geo-political issues in the first place.

and give Obama an excuse for national service, gas rationing (many limo liberals want anything to cut oil consumption). nationalize public utilities (they will be demonized for cutting off the poor)
