Top headline @ RawStory.com: Fox deceived viewers to smear Ron Paul [UPDATE: Fox responds]

This will be a good story to show my friends who are still come how convinced that Fox are "the good guys".

This is great. More positive exposure for Ron. Everyone that hates Fox (which is everyone) will be picking up this story.

Uhm, sadly, not quite.
In January 2010, Public Policy Polling reported that Fox News was the most trusted television news channel in the country with 49% of respondents stating they trust Fox News.[39][40] Fox also scored the lowest level of distrust with only 37%, and was the only channel to score a net positive in that regard, with a +12%. CNN scored second in the poll with 39% of those polled stating that they trusted the news channel, and 41% stating distrust, a -2% net score.[41]

Don't forget. At the 2010 CPAC, FOX put their microphones in the Romney supporter section. So boos seemed louder and more pervasive.

Why is it when Fox makes a "mistake" it seems to be against Ron Paul & not other candidates.

I don't care if they apologize nor do I expect it. I am very happy to see a VP had to answer the tough question and this will continue to be tossed in Fox's face for several days. This sends a message to Fox that we are watching and will not put up with their crap. We should continue to call them every time they pull this garbage. Follow the same recipe. Make a youtube video documenting the fraud, spread it around and report it to the FCC. Every time!

Agree with everything except that part in bold. The FCC shouldn't exist, and we shouldn't use state force to encourage Fox or anyone to have better coverage.

Oh, great, so now they'll retract it in such a way as to make a SECOND story about Ron being booed....

Yea, right. The whole setup and first question to RP was regarding the boos that didn't happen. FOX is a POS and they know it.

1+ Exactly. They weren't talking to him ABOUT his win. They were talking to him about the reaction to his win. It was clearly a set up

"Whoops, just a mistake." That's interesting. You would think that something they made a big deal out of would be verified. It's not like it was something that slipped through because no one was paying attention. They focused on it, and badgered Ron Paul about it!

Honestly, we're damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

It's best that this type of propaganda gets exposed imo. This wasn't a mistake.
