Tonights debate: Candidates can ask other candidates a question

1) The others will not ask him any question - because each candidate will be allowed to ask only 1 question.

2) He should not ask anything other than economy (may be spending in connection to foreign policy) which is his strong point and the others' weak area. Anything else will be easily answered and will be specific to 1 candidate (like immigration - which is specific to mccain, i think romney will ask that anyway.)

Yep, my bet is that they ignore his presence entirely. Or they ask him the question about truthers or white supremecists.

Very simple question

How are you going to pay for the $66.3 trillion dollar gap in revenues for our welfare programs while cutting taxes and spending billions yearly in Iraq?

Trust me, every other candidate is scared shitless right now being briefed by their speech people about Ron Paul

That's good. I was thinking something more like,
"How do you plan to keep paying for our wars? By borrowing even more from China or by raising taxes?"

Simple.....Ron, ask anyone of the candidates...."So______________, what are you going to do, specifically, about the economy?

That would be a good one for McCain! :)

If Ron Paul is lucky enough to actually get asked a question; that is, if any other candidate is actually brave enough to ask Ron Paul a question, he should answer it with a question (or two!); for in such a case, Ron Paul will have guaranteed himself the benefit of asking at least two devastating questions to the other candidates, instead of the single allocated one.

Be wise as serpents, harmless as doves!

I'd like to see Ron grill McCain on the recent news articles in which McCain has admitted that he doesn't understand economics at all. Remember the October 9 debate where McCain said, "I'm glad whenever they cut interest rates, I wish interest rates were zero." Highlighting such a shocking lack of economic intelligence would really hurt McCain right now when fear about the economy is on everyone's minds. If the question can be phrased in such a way that it shows how smart Ron is about economics and forces McCain to reiterate his recent comments that he would be relying on advisers (like Phil Gramm) to run his economic policies, I think there's a potential for a home run here.

OMFG he did not say that?!?

Ron needs to question Romney, who is quickly becoming the front-runner, and put him on the spot. McCain, regardless of what the media says, will not be able to garner support from enough of the GOP in my opinion and without money, Ron will outlast him.

I agree Romney is and always has been the frontrunner.

Giuliani had no chance to win the south or the GOP base, Huckabee is an evangelical only phenomena, and McCain is in a boat similair to Giuliani's.

In addition, Romney right now is seen as the strongest on Economic Issues, if Ron can embarrass him on the economy tonight it could be HUGE.

I would like to hear anyone ask McCain about his ability to solve the Immigration issue. In the last debate he said he knew how to solve the problem. He also said by his own admission, his homestate has one of the worst records of illegal immigration and he knows how to solve the problem? Should this give anyone confidence?

Once again it's like a fat person giving diet advice. ( NO offense to fat people, myself included)

...need is say more.

now that is funny. and true. and funny again.

I'd personally like to see RP tell the moderator that he received a phone call prior to starting the debate in which it was confirmed that MSNBC for a solid hour showed ALL the candidates except him, and then to ask if the media is swaying the election or if all candidates are receiving equal coverage? It seems that whenever the media mentions Ron Paul that the story always has to include "presidential long shot maverick"... How do they explain leaving him out when he is clearly coming out of his "long shot" status?

Romney hasnt stepped to Ron Paul yet. Besides the Al quieiduda comment.. Paul only said 'Make fun buddy'

I hope thats where the sparks are tonight.

I hope Ron goes after McCain. McCain was quoted recently saying he doesn't really understand economics, so RP should go after him on this point.
