Tom Woods and Lew Rockwell tear into Rand

Answers in bold.

You called Ron pure. Your description was uncompromising morality is the definition and you said Lew and Tom are purists which implies they think Ron Paul is pure because they support him and not Rand.

I didn't say Ron was in favor of sodomy laws or even hint it. I said he thought states should be allowed to make such laws which is what the article you linked says. They should not be allowed to. No need to call me a liar. Apology accepted.

The Constitution does apply to the states. The 14th Amendment does apply. Basically any law that restricts freedom of voluntarily dealing with others is unconstitutional. That is why libertarian legal theorists like Judge Napolitano and Randy Barnett are pushing so hard to revisit Lochner. You can't have laws banning interracial marriage. This is not controversial among libertarians.

Skipping over marriage. I didn't even give my opinion on abortion. Both sides have a reasonable argument. When the three biggest names in libertarianism as well the Libertarian Party says abortion should be legal, then it is safe to say that is the standard view. That is not an opinion.

If they aren't behind Rand 100%, then I'm not willing to listen to their ideas because I don't need them to replace Ron Paul. If they aren't willing to get behind this car and help push it down the road, they ain't getting a ride in my car.

So quick question. How many people do you know who were converted to your current way of thinking by Rand Paul?
Is it greater than zero?

So this is my act of anger against you all. I've got a daughter now that turns 3 years old in 2 days. This is about her for me now.
Now stop and think about how many people in Kentucky have had their children taken away from them and what Rand Paul did about it.
You get on the wrong side of the system, and all your principles - including the ones about getting elected - are going to go out the window right away. Because they can, and WILL, take your daughter away.

There isn't a single candidate talking about that, anywhere. And what you're bringing to the table is the same thing every other candidate is bringing: we gotta get into power so we can be the ones shoving people around.

I think secretly you all hate on Lew and Tom because they've rejected the idea of shoving people around altogether. You also can't seem to get it through your heads that the things we don't care for about Rand all involve his professed love of certain ways of shoving people around. So sorry, dude, if you're angry and feel like shoving us all around, but given that we've all flatly rejected the idea of shoving people around, your wanting to shove us all around isn't really going to have the intended effect.

You want to have a real effect on the world for your daughter? Me too. Here's how we can do it: we can figure out how to discuss the real solutions without getting black-bagged in the middle of the night. When we have a new Green Dragon Tavern, something will get done. Until then, the powers that be are at MOST a 75 cent bullet away from reacquiring power. If you don't think they'd go there, then you need to expand your reading a bit.
