It cracks me up when Peter Schiff talks about how gold is the "canary in the coal mine" for the dollar. And when gold spikes way up instead of recognizing that the dollar is in danger, instead traders are saying "well maybe the canary was old and died of a heart attack".
I'd add that we can live with slow and steady inflation because most everything is going up including income. Not that it's a good thing, it's just not terrible.
I try not to quibble over terms. I usually fail. But I'm quibbling over these.
It is terrible. It's just not intolerable -- yet.

gold feels overpriced to me compared to other commodities.
I agree to a certain degree, however I see a very good possibility that buying silver in the near future for the average Joe-Blow will soon become illegal. You know, national security and all.I think the time to buy is past, though I don't feel compelled to sell yet. Same for platinum and palladium.
But this silver squeeze hasn't played out yet, I think. I wouldn't turn my nose up at that.

Yeah, I had to get away from the Trump fan-boys. Life's to short.
Aw, for sure, while you can.Sounds like a good reason to buy now to me.
