Today's Gold Price

I'm tempted to sell some gold and buy oil.

Edit: Just sold a bunch of gold and gold stocks. First time I ever did that. I'm going to wait for them to restart QE before I buy again.

I'm going to buy some silver and oil stuff.

id guess best case scenario for oil is up 15 percent in a yr .but that would be based on an outlook of strong growth. I think gold will avg 5 percent or more ea yr ea decade for next two minimum with minimal risk.

I'm using the ratio of gold/fed balance sheet which is closer to a historical normal than it's been since the start of qe in 2009.

But long term I totally agree.

Has silver and oil ever been this low compared to gold? I'm guessing it's never been this unbalanced in history.

I checked end of 2020 and gold=1895 silver=26 ratio of 72.

Now gold=3436 silver=32 ratio of 107!

Didn't have time to check oil but it's probably even higher.

silver underperformance is reaching legendary status right now. So , no . Gold may reach 3440 tonight

Oil down to $58. That's crazy. It should be like $300 based on the increase in the money supply over the last decade plus. Plus war is threatening to break out in the middle east.
