Yeah, Eastern Washington is pretty darn conservative. Keep this in mind, it makes it real simple--Western Washington/Oregon = Liberal, Eastern Washington/Oregon = Conservative.

Not completely true. Im was raised in Roseburg and it is very conservative all around it. Only the major cities on I5 are Liberal.

Why doesnt the campaign have a ustream channel and someone with a decent (awesome not needed) video camera that's hooked up to stream live?? It wouldn't cost them anything!

they could offer people money for their property at UNCONTAMINATED prices and create some sort of slurry wall for groundwater, maybe. I'm not saying what the remedy should be, per se.

They didn't contaminate private property. They acquired it through eminent domain first. The contaminated area is currently uninhabitated (not counting the people who drive back and forth to work there) and out in the middle of a desert. Think Area 51ish...lol. In fact about 50,000 people lived in tents in the 40's/50's to support the project during the construction phase! Now the groundwater contamination is another story though.

They did this in 2008, when they went around the media to the people directly. It is one of the super easy things for them to do.

He stopped to give a shortened version of his speech to the people outside before leaving for events in Idaho and Spokane later today.

Check out all the people that couldn't get in and waited for RP. Could be another 1000 or so.
