Today's Cafferty file is about Ron Paul

This is OK. It gives Cafferty more time to sort out the thousand emails he received and get a good segment together. PLUS, more people are getting home from work today as it gets later.

My Answer to the Question of the Hour

Here's what I sent in to Jack...

Why isn't Ron Paul higher in the polls? Maybe the same reason Huckabee suddenly 'surged' in the polls despite barely registering a blip on the fundraising radar. The media creates our reality. If Hillary Clinton or Rudy Guliani raised over 6 million dollars in one day we would never hear the end of it. But since the media pundits have decided for us that Ron Paul is a 'longshot' -- despite his incredible fundraising success, having the most donations from active members of the military and having won more Straw Polls than any other candidate -- that is how he is portrayed, successes be damned. The polls, which I don't tend to give a lot of credence to for a number of reasons, are simply a reflection of the reality that those in the media have crafted for us.

I sometimes wonder if it weren't for you Jack, would we even be hearing about Ron Paul on the Situation Room today?

The real question is why Giuliani, McCain, and Huckabee still can't win straw polls but top their phone polls.

Nicely done, sir. I've made similar points, mostly demonstrating that phone polls are obsolete.

Thanks you sir

:)

I love Hillary talking about who she is when the cameras aren't rolling and when no one is taking notes in front of cameras and reporters. The circularity makes me dizzy!:D

That's an awesome response MarcMadness. Mine probably won't get past the moderator, but who knows? :p

Here’s my question: If Ron Paul supporters independent from the campaign can raise $6 million in one day, why can’t I-am-higher-in-the-polls-than-thou Giuliabee McRompson?
