Cause Rand Paul never got on the floor of the U.S. congress and said that we were in danger of another "Gulf of Tonkin style staged event" to get us into war with Iran. It's Ron's on comments, not his appearances on the Alex Jones show, that have raised the issues. And have you seen him asked about that on a nationally televised debate this election cycle? Because I haven't. That's last cycle's smear campaign. This cycle's smear is "OMG! He'll let Iran nuke us!"

Thank you. But my logic is fine. It's yours that screwed up. If you don't think donations "matter much" because we "can't buy votes" then it's pretty strange of you to donate $500 to Ron. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad you did. You see I think donations matter a lot.

You're trying to avoid something that clearly isn't going to happen and isn't at all related to Ron Paul going on the Alex Jones show. Again, This cycle's smear is "OMG! He'll let Iran nuke us!" If you're going to worry about anything, worry about that. The way to counter that is to have mega donations to buy TV air time. And one way to help boost megadonations is going on the AJ show.

Donations matter as long as they don't bring more harm than good attached with them. I still distinctly remember the MSM tv spots from last cycle

I swear this thread is a clone of nearly all others pertaining to Jones and co. I hold a neutral position on the guy as he has pluses and minuses but the fact remains that his audience puts their money where their mouth is in a very big way. 12-16 won't be much w/o them. Let's let the campaign do what they think they need to do and if you've ever listened to Paul on Jones' show before you'd know that he doesn't get caught up in the conspiracy stuff.

You emulate what works and don't emulate what didn't. Moneybombs worked. Ron getting AJ supporters involved in moneybombs worked. Crappy TV ads did not. I mean really, do you honestly think a candidate that spent TV money on ads like this had a chance of winning?

I still distinctly remember the truther smear and it was 100% based on what Ron Paul said and not based on Ron Paul going on the Alex Jones show.
