TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY TO VOTE IN TEXAS

Does anyone know if it's too late to register if you changed counties since the last election cycle? What options are there now that the registration deadline has passed?

If you are registered to vote in Texas but you are just in a different county now, you can request an absentee ballot be mailed to you at your current address. The application form to request an absentee ballot must be received by your former county's County Clerk by May 22.

Here is the form to apply for an absentee ballot:

You can find your County Clerk's address here:
http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/cclerks.shtml

GET YOUR RON PAUL SIGNS OUT IN FRONT OF THE EARLY VOTING POLL PLACES IF YOU CAN'T GO AND TALK TO PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE POLLS

All we need is 20%--

Please pass the word to the Campaign for Liberty Groups.

Btw, met some Tea Party delegates today--very open to Ron Paul supporters. This is good. Can lead to possible team work for convention.

If you want to get involved in your County GOP, don't forget to file as a candidate for Precinct Chair. The deadline to file as a candidate is June 1.

Here is the application form:
http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/pol-sub/2-1f.pdf

In the box "Office Sought", you need to write down your precinct number. To find your precinct number, check here: https://team1.sos.state.tx.us/voterws/viw/faces/SearchSelectionVoter.jsp

Remember to look for your NEW precinct number (the one finalized after redistricting).

You must get the form notarized then delivered to your County GOP Chairman. You can find contact information for your County GOP Chairman here: http://www.texasgop.org/county-chairmen

I know a bunch of people who will be willing to get dragged to a ballot vote. Can you guys post more details on this? I moved here in 2010 and I have no idea where to go. I thought May 29th was the big primary ballot vote day?

Yes, May 29 is the primary day but Texas allows people to vote early in person without any excuses.

You can find your early voting location here:
https://team1.sos.state.tx.us/voterws/viw/faces/SearchSelectionPolling.jsp

If you need to find out what times the early voting locations are open, you can call your County Clerk (contact info here).

Please God let Tofte win. I can't stand the thought of Culberson being my Rep for another 2 years. I hate that guy at a cellular level. He has been on the wrong side of every vote since I've started tracking him.
