Seconding the above sentiments, though I do have some worries with the past few bits of legislation we've discussed here. I am more likely to provide financial support to another candidate than Rand. I would like to elevate some others to House/Senate, to the point that they make Rand look like the neocon that some are accusing him of currently being :p

Yes, I would love to send Rand some support up there to take the weight off his shoulders. Let them compete to see who can be more liberty oriented.

I didn't vote for him the first time, since I do not live in his state. But if by 'support' you mean 'donate' then yeah. And yes I agree, I would donate to help elevate others to House/Senate where possible, to give Rand some much needed competition/support. I hope more people will be inspired to run.

I listed myself as a maybe. The time to complain about the Romney endorsement would have been a while back when he pledged to do that many months ago. I remember hearing that and thinking he would change his mind about it, and was very surprised when he didn't. I really wondered whether he was thinking at all, but clearly it was completely thought out in advance.

Of all the candidates, Romney was easily the most evil and therefore the toughest to swallow Rand endorsing. His stated reasoning was to keep in good standing with the Republican party. Well, maybe he should consider being in good standing in respect moral values to be more important. I consider it a blow to his morality when he did that, but the real damage was done a while back when he made a blank check promise. It would have been MUCH wiser to add some strings attached to the endorsement and then he could say at least that he is endorsing Romney because of certain issues.

Ron Paul never attacked Romney because he is viewed as the weakest candidate to all those except complete idiots with no grasp on reality, especially those who voted for him. Ron is smart enough to keep his mouth shut when it comes to whether or not he will support the treasonous traitor snake Republicans who we are asked to take seriously as candidates.

The vote for sanctions was such a major hit to his record that it would be tough to support him again. However, if he makes no further serious errors in judgement, then I'll consider supporting him again. The endorsement for Romney was a forgivable point of bad moral judgement on Rand's part. If Rand starts getting most of his money from corporations, then I'll have to consider campaigning against him rather than for him. So I'm a strong maybe. Maybe I'll help him out and maybe I'll flyer my neighborhood in favor of an opposing candidate instead.

Yeah I'll support him.

I really am not too keen on punishing him for the "sin" of endorsing Romney.

That being said, I'm not going to support him very actively, but that's mostly because I live in Illinois, and not Kentucky.

It depends upon his votes between now and his reelection. Right now, I feel a little betrayed.

I didn't do anything in 2010. In 2016 I'll phonebank and maybe take a weekend to KY.

No one can support him for Senate in 2016 because he will abandon his seat to give his full attention to his presidential run. Is the question about supporting him for GOP nominee?

Wow, the poll shows he has about 75% support here...... which is probably about where it was at before the endorsement

Sure why not?...i'm used to being made a fool of. Hell, maybe he might surprise me, but i doubt it. Its like trusting your brain surgeon. What choices do you have?...

on your knees, or on your feet. right now i'm in a stooping position.

now, because of Rand, i'm listening more to this band than i ever did before.

ABSOLUTELY...as long as he keeps doing what he is doing in Washington D.C. As long as he continues fighting to audit the fed, fight the Patriot Act, indefinite detention, the EPA, raising the debt ceiling, wasteful spending, etc. His voting record and leadership is wonderful and refreshing.

Also, did anyone see the amendment he presented yesterday? http://www.senate.gov/legislative/L...ote_cfm.cfm?congress=112&session=2&vote=00131

It would stop giving subsidies to just anybody...especially the rich. I look forward to the day when government never gives subsidies again! :)

Truly we have a lot of work to do. Of the Senators listed, I would only deem the following acceptable: Ayotte (R-NH), Burr (R-NC), DeMint (R-SC), Johnson (R-WI), Lee (R-UT), Paul (R-KY), Portman (R-OH), Rubio (R-FL), Toomey (R-PA). If you count the ones I have left, that is about 9 senators. I also know that a lot people may take issue with some of the names I left due to other issues, but the ones I left are those who have achieved 80%+ in my books.

But this year, we can send people like Ted Cruz, Richard Mourdock, Kurt Bills, etc. to the Senate! :)
