You claim you want a candidate that can win, eh? Well, who tells you who can win? It's obviously not truth. It's obviously not your own sense of character, nor some sort of principle, nor what is right. You give up when the going gets tough, so you can "win." Because that's all that it's about to you, isn't it? Honesty, goodness, and truth go with the wind when it looks like you are going to lose out, and you don't think twice about it. You claim you are different then those other guys, those who are owned by someone else then themselves, who talk out one side of their mouths to one person then the other side for another, just so they too can win power.

But a victory in that sense, is a loss in reality. You lose sight of the very reason why you care about this election in the first place. Power is corrupting, and I see people here jumping ship for a taste of it. But hear this: the strong are the ones who stand by their principles, who look temptation straight in the eye and say "You're nothing." Flip-floppers can be voters too, and they are just as despicable as flip-flopping spineless candidates.

To those tempted by "winners," I say: Grow some balls and stand for something!

(EDIT: To the women, forgive the balls reference. To you all, have the guts to stand for what you believe in!)

Today simply recharges some of the anger I had lost (CNN empty pie slice)!

Ron Paul

viva la revolution!

Who jumped ship?

I saw a post from someone saying they were going to another camp but I tried to read the thread and it was deleted.

Those people obviously aren't for Ron Paul from the beginning and probably thought Ron Paul is a fad

Scram losers!

If we are going to go down it wont be without a fight!

But I still want to win.

We need to regroup tomorrow and get busy!

Ron Paul all the way. I will write him on the ballot If I have to.

And don't forget to run for congress! We can support each other and take it all back!

To put things into perspective, Iowa was among the lowest per million count re donors to the Ron Paul Campaign. Therefore, we shouldn't have expected much from them anyway.

In fact, given RP's STRONG fifth-place showing in Iowa, I think we should feel relieved. It could have been much worse had it not been for all the work of the (mostly out-of-state) troops on the ground.

I'm staying with Paul until the end, but if he doesn't become President, then to hell with this country.

I'm just glad that my work is on the internet, so I'm not tied-down to the USA

The Presidency is JUST THE BEGINNING of this Revolutions folks. Regardless of us winning it or not, I am a life long supporter of Liberty. I will not give up here, in New Hampshire, or if we lose the Presidency. I am in this to the end, theirs or mine.

Huckabee is the man to beat. We have the money to stay in the game. The other three in the middle are going to have to duke it out with eachother for a while and one or two will be lost soon.

I agree totally. It's Ron Paul or no one for me. No one else Is worth my vote.

Dsteenbock.

You are worth your vote. Pick up the torch and run for school board or city commission or something in Kansas. That is what each one of us should do. They can't stop us all!

I'm also sticking with Ron Paul all the way to the end. I've also said before that this primary race is going to be a marathon and one long war of attrition between Romney, Giuliani, Huckabee, McCain, and Thompson.

Although I wish Ron Paul had placed higher today, I am glad to see he hit double digits. If Ron Paul goes on to place at least third or higher in NH, and continues to earn double digit wins like tonight in subsequent races, he will be able to stay in the race SO LONG AS WE STICK WITH HIM. Remember what one of the Founding Fathers said at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, "WE MUST HANG TOGETHER OR WE WILL MOST ASSUREDLY HANG SEPARATELY."

At the end of the day, I predict Huckabee is still going to be unable to raise the money to compete in the primary races for the full distance. Thompson is about as inspiring as a tree stump. Giuliani won't get the nomination because the GOP is not ready to nominate a drag queen as its presidential candidate. McCain and Romney will destroy each other with negative ads thereby leaving a distaste in the electorate's mouths.

Only Ron Paul can save this Republican Party and this nation. If you want to desert this campaign, then you are letting down future generations of Americans who are going to be the "beneficiaries" of the big brother, big spending policies of today's Democrats and Republicrats in DC.
