Please respect the fact that all Americans are entitled to their opinion even if you don't agree with it.

I love the good people of South Carolina, and most especially, the wonderful South Carolina RON PAUL supporters!

:)

BUT their opinion is WRONG!!

You have no idea how hard it was for me to tell my parents what day was voting day, knowing they weren't voting for Ron.

I've been to South Carolina before. The people are very friendly. The folks down there are some of the most hospitable people on the planet. The fact that these folks are so nice but so mislead makes me very angry at our government.

I'm sorry. I have to hate the Carolinas, as I was in 82nd Airborne Infantry in Fort Bragg. It's just a fact that I have to hate the region. It's the gubmint's fault. As consolation, however, I hate my slice of Iowa, too. Once you guys are drafted, you'll understand.

Once again, I'm sorry. It is the way it is, though. I don't hate everyone there, but I hate a lot of the folks in the Carolinas I've encountered, and the hell that is Airborne Infantry life has left me very fucking bitter.

Car wrecks on the way to work every day, right in the middle of highways, lots of wiggers, too many people who'd rather get drunk and arrested in a club than, y'know...live a fulfilling life. The same applies to Georgia (Fort Benning), too. Nothing personal. If you're a patriot, you have no flak from me to catch.

It wasn't easy being one of the tiny minority of rational, thinking people in the barracks, or in Fayetteville. BTW, I once drove around trying to get outside Fayettenam to see if the stupidity ended at the city limits, but once you get out of there, you go down random roads....and we saw literally at least 11 'now entering' or 'now entering' Fayetteville signs. What the fuck?

This reminds me of a line in the great movie, 1776, when John Adams is furious with Edward Rutledge, the delegate from South Carolina, and Ben Franklin says to Adams, "How dare you jeapordize our cause. These men, no matter how much we may disagree with them, are not ribbon clerks to be ordered about. They're proud, accomplished men - the creame of their colonies. And whether you like it or not, they and the people they represent will be part of this new nation you'd hope to create. Now either learn to live with them, or pack up and go home!"

I'd rather be a ribbon clerk than in the Army again. But yeah, while I know I couldn't handle living in the south due to my past experiences there, I'm not saying everyone there is retarded or whatever. I just want someone to attempt to defend the offenses I listed in my post.;)

hahaha!

Agreed. Just because someone doesn't vote/think the way you do doesn't mean they are sheep, ignorant, or not intelligent. Maybe they don't base their votes on the same things you do. Maybe they don't think the same way you do and don't agree with you. That doesn't make them stupid. I thought this was supposed to be a campaign that brings people together and doesn't put people into groups. I guess not.

. Once you guys are drafted, you'll understand.

And if anyone but Dr. Paul is elected, the draft is exactly what we'll get - especially if we're in Iraq a hundred more years as McCain suggests. Over my dead cold body will they take my kids to fight to fill someone elses pocket full of cash.

So true. The other day when it snowed. People were parking in the ditches.

It doesn't make sense to me not to vote for Ron Paul and I'm disappointed in the results. I thought we'd do a lot better, but being a RP supporter here, I have to be partially to blame. Let's not let it happen again!
