Tipping for Ron Paul

I sent an email to corey at libertycard.org relaying the idea. I'll post here what he says about designing a libertycard sized card to hand out that specifically targets people in the service industry.

I also emailed ronpaulcards.com asking if they could design something up. This could be really big.

Oooooooohhhhhhhh I LIKE IT!!!!!! Ok, I said that on the other thread, but it bears repeating over here....

Yes, a card with the text or just the gist of this bill and a brief bit about RP on the other side will be BRILLIANT!!!

I started doing it this week. I always tip a nice 20 plus percent when dining out and have started leaving a slim jim under the tip.....turned to the side that mentions the abolishing of the IRS. I am too meek to strike up a political conversation with total strangers, or try to shove a slim jim in somebody's face, so I thought this would be a good unobtrusive effort.

I am a slim jim ninja.

Make sure you include the DATE on the card so people know it is recent news!

I'd say the entire bill is too much. Servers are very busy people, likely not interested in reading legislation. Business card sized, 2-3 sentence 'news-like' blurb on one side, standard "Vote for Ron Paul" on the other side. That would be awesome!

Form corey at libertycard.org:

Thanks for the suggestion. I like the idea of giving cards to people in restaurants, but the downside is that I create 100,000 at a time so that it’s affordable. You can only give 1 card to a server. So that would need to go out to eat a lot in order to do it. What I might suggest is that you download the card art for free, modify it with your verbiage, and then print it with one of my recommended printers. All the info is on LibertyCard.org.

As an aside, when leaving the card for a server/delivery person, I'd leave a couple extras that they can share with their coworkers.

Does anyone have a YouTube of his statement to the House? It should have been on CSpan.

Edit: Also, is there a HR# for this yet?
