I'll tell you what... if Israel attacks Iran, and Iran strikes back, there would be a HUGE backlash against sending our troops to fight Israel's war that they started. In fact, you might see soldiers refusing to fight. In this day and age, with the net and 24hr news, I can imagine a situation where the military, or parts of it, disobey a ludicrous order like that.

If Israel bombs Iran, they should be on their own. Our defense alliance with them specifies that if they are attacked we will defend them. But if they attack and start a war, they are on their own.

Umm there is no official defense "alliance" or "treaty" with Israel, just a "special relationship". A defense treaty, say one like in NATO requires there to be internationally recognized borders, which Israel does not have.

I think we pretty much witnessed the bias with the Georgian/Russian conflict. What an embarrassment in American MS media. Oh that's right, it was done purposely.

Did you see or hear MSM reporting the Georgians protesting to remove that American Puppet Dictator? Another data point.

I'm sure the National Security Council has come up with all the Senarios and Excuses to support Israel in an attack on Iran.

Israel would not bomb Iran, their best hope is to have their agents in US to have US to do it for them through bribed politicians. But even that's not going to happen, there is greatly weakned support for Israel post 9/11.
