Check my past posts -- I have been one of the main Ron Paul supporters in opposition to the direction the Blimp project was headed. The opposition went out of our way to make sure our concerns were raised on this forum and we have taken quite a bit of attacks for doing so.

I have stepped back over the last few days and read the posts and monitored the changes to the http://www.ronpaulblimp.com/ web-site. I have to give a lot of credit to the Blimp Team. They listened to our concerns and they responded. They easily met us more than half way. Is the final plan perfect. No. However it is close enough and given their willingness to listen in the past, I am sure we can all work together to make it better as time moves along.

We need this blimp to fly... and the only shot we have is the plan on the table today. No alternative has a chance to work at this time.

The Blimp is worth 10X the cost... easily, every $1 spent will get us back $10 in return through free media attention and positive name recognition for Dr. Paul.

$200K by Friday is easily doable. I have watched the grassroots effort do this time and time again.

It is time to stop bickering, bitching and whining and show our adversaries that we can make anything happen. To show the naysayers that no matter how far apart we can be, we can still pull together and get it done.

With the way the project is set-up, there is no financial limit, and all we need is to show one Ron Paul supporter with the financial capability to back this project, that the grassroots wants this to happen.

Even if it is just $10 bucks... lets get the blimp charts moving up and show our support!

Glad to see you changed your tune Lacrosseus! Your no troll! (Just messing with ya)
On a serious note we have to remember 1 thing. That is we need to get this blimp airborne. It will help our grassroots efforts more than anything!

I do not see them raising $200k by wed/ 500k by the 10th and the media will play it as a complete failure and make the grassroots look like fools.

I hope I am wrong.

Wow. First of all I have seen many of your posts and they have all been negative against the blimp. I don't expect you to stop now or ever for that matter. I on the other hand DO believe they will gather the money in time and completely disagree with you. ;)

Yeah, I agree, there is a big risk here. I wish the risk could have been avoided... but it is too late. The only way to handle this is by avoidance, which means raise the money!

Can you at least give $10 to help out?

Its up to 63,500 right now and is spiking up on the graph. Just got done pitching a few FRN to make it fly. I got a kick out of reading this on the website :

Why is the blimp spending so much time in New Hampshire?

During election season, that is where the cameras are.

What will the blimp do in New Hampshire?

The blimp is very social. It wants to get its picture taken with every candidate in the race, and will be attending a lot of their functions.

Imagine Rudy, or Hillary outside doing a stump speech and there is a Blimp floating in the background that says RON PAUL. :D

If one worry's about being a fool because of failure one will never succeed. Most self made millionaire's have failed many times till they made a success. Most people admire people who at least try, so could you pretend for a week you like it?:)

Given the situation as it is at this time, what is the desired outcome of your post? How does your post advance the campaign in any way?

Oh yeah!

And yours? Kettle black.

I am trying to discourage negativity that threatens the success of something that has a great potential.

Also, I am lending my voice of encouragement to a group of people (that I am part of) that is taking constructive action to make a unique promotion for Ron Paul to become a reality.

If you can't see that, I respectfully submit that you have blinders on.

The project will fail only if the money isn't raised in time. Fundraising has started, that is a reality, and you can't change that anymore.

Do you want the project to fail or not? YES OR NO? There is no middle ground. Please clarify your position.

By the way why didn't you openly answer my question: what is the outcome you desire as a result of your post?
