I got news for you. He's not gonna win anyway. The games rigged. The people who are turned off to Ron Paul are never going to support him no matter how "normal" we act. The American Revolution was waged with the support of only about a third of the country. I bet the other two thirds thought they were "crazy" too.

Umm..... actually, we imposted economic sanctions (which many consider to be an act of war) against Japan in 1940 because they invaded China, and we were actively supporting Great Britain in her defense with funding and weapons, all before December 7, 1941. I'm not saying Japan wouldn't have attacked us anyway, but we certainly weren't "non-interventionist."

Seriously, if the video I just saw is true (linked above) then we (limited government RP junkies, starting with the seized user list of this website) would probably be among the first to be rounded up and "detained" because of our "treasonous" ideas. The main difference between such a scenario and what happened in WWII is that there's no great freedom loving nation out there to come rescue us from our oppressors.
 
Go to Panama how appropriate that the US built their biggest resource the canal.

We also funded and gave arms to the allies in WW1 before getting involved in WW1 because Wilson was an Angolophile. In fact a Republican in the House almost

got impeached because he stated the Lusitania had weapons on it, it took the NY harbor master to testify to stop his impeachment. Hypocrisy all around.
 
I'm contemplating ways of getting through the collapse if Ron doesn't make it. Moving to another country to get away from the massive American economic collapse wouldn't be easy though.

I suppose one could go to Canada even though that means more socialism hoping at least that Canada's dollar would still be stable. You'd have their taxes but hopefully at least you wouldn't have a wallet full of worthless paper.

Or there is Australia I guess.

No. Wishful thinking, I'm afraid. I speak from personal experience, most military guys want their paycheck and to be left alone--the fastest way to do that is to obey orders, even if those orders are to do something INSANE. Infantry guys are told from the getgo that they are not U.S. citizens and therefore not privileged with rights/constitutional protection, and as far as the grunt can tell, this is true. UCMJ has actual ruled that that is false, but the guy ordered to kick down your door and kill dissenters is never told that. Soldiers are constantly placed in 'us vs them' mindsets/scenarios. They will choose their well-being over yours.

I can't imagine that NH can take a whole lot of new people looking for jobs and reasonable rents. There sure were not many listings for housing on the site.

I hate CA but love Napa. I could move to Canada easily but I won't.

Think I'll dig in and fight on.

Nice first post. I've never heard a Ron Paul supporter say they're opposed to immigration. I have however heard them say they are opposed to illegal immigration. In case you didn't know yet, there is a difference between the two.
 
Can you 101% be sure that we will be safer. Because we were not safer on December 7, 1941, from our non-interventionist foreign policy. I know there'll be conspiracy theories and technicalities about December 7th, so yea.
As others have mentioned, our foreign policy was far from non-interventionist prior to December 7, 1941.
Which means that we give up a few rights to be protected. For example: you give up the right to chew gum in order to prevent assholes from sticking them to desks, the ground, and chairs. I've had my share of bad experiences with assholes and gum.
The last thing I want is the government telling me I can't chew gum now.
Oh yea, it doesn't hurt to STOP HARASSING FELLOW SUPPORTERS AND SUPPORTERS OF OTHER CANDIDATES!

lol typical American response, fortunately I think your wrong.

The main problem with the US is there foreign policy, meddling with country's were they don't belong, trying to promote democracy to the world (or shall I say oil producing country's) or the while removing it from there own people. This foreign policy is causing people to hate America and also sending the American's broke.

And there are a number of other problems with the US.

Although there are mostly likely better country's out there, I don't think leaving the US is the answer. As the people controlling the US will not stop until they control the world, therefore they have to be stopped in America.
 
*yawn* I'm sick of these threads. Typical 13 year old responses again. If you are sick of this country, do something about it while we still have some semblance of a republic left. Go run for office! Go campaign for someone! Get it done. Stop sitting around here whining about how "democracy" is failing us...OF COURSE IT IS, WE'RE NOT A DEMOCRACY! We're a REPUBLIC and it's about time we started spreading that message and forcing our government to adhere to THE LAW.
