Time for some "ageism" reality

Mea culpa on the quip.

Recognize if there's a category of "dumb people" then it's safe to extrapolate a category of "smart people" also exists, of which a subcategory "old people" would also fall under.

lol grumpy old people.

The youth vote and other "swing" groups can easily decide a general election where most others vote in party, but thinknig that youth vote is going to be the difference in a primary/caucus is quite short-sighted. You have to appeal to more than just 1 subsect (in this case, many of which aren't even necessarily traditional republicans) to win the nomination for a party.

The republican party might not publicly state (or for many voters even realize) how much they need us in the general election, but just the same we need them just as much to get there.

The longer this Primary continues, and the longer Dr. Paul has the opportunity to educate others, the more support he will garner. His message is starting to reach people. The old Republican party is in metamorphosis, soon, the "Republican heirarchy" will begin to look old, tired and innefectual.

Don't mind it but that's disturbing. May be I'm too old-fashioned but I can't imagine being with someone half of my age, we wouldn't have much in common at all........but then as it is, it's your freedom, so be it.......no wonder the society is so fractured

Growing up my goal in life was to be a kid. We love each other. I'm young enough to bring a kid to maturity. Be happy for us. I will leave her rich. She has healh problems and I may very well end up burying her rather than the other way round.... :( Life is weird that way... We have a lot in common. Yeah - I see peoples perceptions of her being a gold digger, and my robbing the cradle - what with her being a HS senior and all... we don't care - we are in love. It's not like that at all.

Hi, newbie here. Well I actually registered years ago but was involved on other forums so never really participated here. I am a baby boomer female Ron Paul supporter since 2006. Just sayin. We are stealth but we are out here.

Something to consider as far as the "older" vote. A lot of older people don't spend all day on the internet(unless they are playing Zynga games on FB :D) and may not be as exposed to a lot of the information that is out there. I wasn't until my 18 year old son back in 2005 started "educating" me about Ron Paul even though I had been aware of him and even "felt" very Libertarian at the time I was still brainwashed by the left right paradigm. A lot of older people believe everything the MSM tells them. The answer is Media Takeover. Expensive but it's going to be the only way to compete for those who cannot see, IMO.

Guess what? All you young ppl (that think your shit don't stink) will be old one day,
if you live that long.
if you don't get some respect for others, you probably won't.
