Time for Part II of Black THIS Out.

I really think the media would pick up on this money bomb if we made it about Paul and the grassroots reclaiming the original intent of the tea party. Why? Because it would mean conflict, and conflict means ratings. Today's Tea Party is also incredibly polarizing, again, this makes for ratings. Lovers and haters of it are all engaged in it.

The original tea party got attention and started a revolution. I say stick with the theme we have going, although there is no reason we can't blend in 'and they black him out, so we need to get his message out there' or something. My 2 cents. I just want Ron to get money.

just to be clear, my concern is that arguing about this will end up with factions, those who don't like how it came out will sit on their hands, and the money bomb won't be successful. Like with the current one. I want whatever people will get excited about, but surely there is some way to use black this out and tea party together. I mean, heck, sometimes the Teocon party blacks out the actual tea party, and Ron. There WAS an authenticity to the start. I thought BTO was fantastic, but a lot of people have been working on tea party, because of the last one, and it has a side benefit of maybe reaching out to other tea partiers. (Not those at the alter of Judson Phillips, of course.) Did you watch the video I posted? It was V and the Tea Party. SURELY there is a good way to do BTO and the tea party.

That debate made me furious, what do you guys think of adding this:

There is a new rEVOLution going on. (with EVOL in red or tea color). This rEVOLution has inspired millions of Americans to come together and unite behind a message of freedom and fiscal responsibility (might want to tweak this a bit). You may not have heard this message since the media blacks this out. They will black this out no longer because you are here. This message is embodied in the Presidential Campaign of Congressman Ron Paul (link to RonPaul2012.com).

The next moneybomb should be called "No One But Paul" (to demonstrate that RP supporters will only vote for RP and nobody else), or "Ron Paul or Bust" (to drive home the message that only Ron Paul can beat Obama). That would motivate all RP supporters, more so than "Black This Out" and definitely more than "Take Back the Tea Party".

It was very successful the first time around. The style and tone of the entire thing really caught on with people. Injustice resonates.

Pick a date. Fire up the website. Let's print more cards. Make more videos. And do it all over again.

Whatever the next money bomb is called, cancel it. BTO is the way to go. It is Ron Paul's unique grassroots message. Why bother trying to blend in with everyone else and wrestle back some fraction of a "Tea Party" that was co-opted long ago?

Black THIS Out. Let's make it happen.

I agree....let's stick with it!

Whatever you guys decide on for the next money bomb, I am pledging $500 right now, even if I have to sell off some of my assets...

We need to call these bastards out for who they are. Document their ties with bailed out corporations and the military industrial complex and show the world how they are trying to manipulate this election. We're not going to let them get away this time.

Then condense the info into a handy 8.5 x 11 fax sheet that can be sent all over the planet.

I like it! (No One But Paul!") Excellent! This might also send a message to the GOP that if they pick anyone but Ron Paul for nominee, his supporters will never compromise their principles!

"No One but Paul" on Thanksgiving Day. Give thanks to Ron Paul.

I've put $600 worth of my stuff on craigslist just now. I'm glad I have you guys, because I was depressed to the point of giving up about an hour ago.

The Campaign stated last week that it needed to raise $4.2 million by end of November in order to fully fund advertising in Iowa and New Hampshire....as of today we are not even half way there.....

Frankly, Dec 16th is way too late for Iowa and New Hampshire....that Tea Party Money Bomb may be able to fund South Carolina and Nevada,

BLACK THIS OUT II should be November 28th and make it a three day Money Bomb to reach the $4.2 million goal by the end of the month.

How about the last day of Novemeber, November 30th? We can stress its importnace because it is the last day of the month, and Ron needs $4.2 million by then. We can also tie in a American Revolution historical event. The preliminary Treaty of Peace was signed on Novemeber 30, 1982 which was later formalized into the Treaty of Paris (1783).

Since we are throwing ideas out there and the term money bomb is getting stale how about something along the lines of Libertyfest 2011.

In the movie Spartacus where they say "I am Spartacus" We can say "We are Ron Paul".

Just fire up the BTO website, and keep the date at 12/16. Keep the TeaParty11 website too. There's no reason a date can't have 15 or 20 websites collecting pledges. Make it a competition to see which site can collect the most pledges, and then we'll know what works the best. All the money gets donated in the same place, and the campaign changes the name as it suits them anyway.

You can't have a moneybomb every two weeks. Heck, even one moneybomb a month was probably too many. At least we have 4+ weeks to get ready for 12/16. Call it whatever you want, but moneybombs take a while to promote and put together.

If you're really super ticked off at CBS and the rest, and have money in your pocket, the Veteran's Best Friend ticker is still up. Make today BTO2, and help hit a million.

Haven't read the rest of the thread but I think you're 100% on the money here.

Working some of the best parts of BTO into the website and promotion will definitely help people understand why they haven't really given Paul a chance yet. We just have to be smart about what video(s)/articles/etc. we use to present our case. I think a few of the BTO videos did a good job of using reasons that have broad appeal as the reason for why they black Paul out (e.g. 'against the fed = bad for crony-capitalists/banksters', 'he can't be bought by the establishment', etc.)

I thought Goeber's video played the 2 themes off of each other PERFECTLY.

black tea-party feather over the eyes ftw?? :)
