Seriously... we have the money to hire the best in the business. This grass-roots thing gets you only so far; at some point you have to bark with the big dogs. Huckabee got Ed Rollins. Huckabee won.

But the good news is this: we already have the personnel on the ground to do whatever it takes. We already have the money. We need better high-level administration, not wet-behind the ears college grads, though God bless 'em.

Less WoW, more Speaking with people and spreading the message, and talking with people about Ron Paul's Message...

Less Internet polls, less whining, less waiting for someone else to get out and do something...

More taking it apon ourselves to do what it takes...

yes.

if you can't see that going for the war vote is the way to go.........

fucking hell butting abortion in that horrible infomerical killed us.

kick the bum out.

I agree. Grassroots is the starter. You need a diligent manager to win. However, I'm not certain that he needs one. Iowa wasn't supposed to be a big Paul state. It's closed and it's Iowa. If he finishes below 3rd in NH, I'll be calling for his head. For now, patience.

He still did better than the Foxheads would like to have seen, and Thompson was a real screwball. I don't see that continuing in NH. He has no money. Paul needs to move to florida and south carolina immediately. Let the machine take course in NH. We have a lot of support there. Focus on Giuliani/Romney states.

as many times as the campaign dropped the ball concerning interviews and the like, I would be all for someone that knows wtf they are doing vs the pleeb running the show right now.

Be realistic guys, this state is 65% pro-Bush. What else could you do?

Our number is very good based on the fact that Ron Paul spent most of his time in New Hampshire.

Sorry, I agree with the OP...our maniacal support will only take us so far.

We need a big time player to run this campaign...unfortunately, we have got to play politics if we want to have any chance to win.

The average American is a dumbass. We need a true, proven campaign manager to head this quest.

What we need is for RP people to get involved with the Republican Party in their areas and show them that we are real people supporting a real Republican who wants to move America in a real conservative direction.

The only thing our campaign needs is more help. I still think we are stretched too thing. The management is great and have done a good job so far (image how crappy they could have done and look where we are now).

Some better commercial people would be the best thing IMO.

I really think that most Republicans are too obtuse to accept an anti-war / Federal Reserve candidate.

Living the message and spreading the message is great...I think that most RP supporters don't just type on the interweb about him. I know I have stood in sub freezing weather waving signs and donated money twice.

We need a kick ass, take no prisoners campaign manager.

BOTTOM LINE.

How is coming within approx 3 points of both McCain and Thompson while beating Giuliani a bad showing?

This was a great showing...it was done by hard work by the grassroots and hardwork by the campaign.
