Time for a change: 10 Facts about Global Warming

You have proof for the climate getting cooler? Of course there's two sides to every argument, but when 90% of the scientific community comes out saying that global warming is real I think you have to listen. I agree with the private property rights approach. Notice I never said anything about government stepping in ;) As for peak oil, we're not at peak production but there certainly is a limited amount of oil in the world. It's a non-renewable resource so we're going to run out eventually, it's just a matter of when.

Might want to consider changing your handle.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone on these forums who doesn't believe in global warming but does believe peak oil, or vice versa? I haven't seen anyone like that on these forums, everybody is at one extreme or the other.

I believe that global warming is a hoax, and it is a distraction to keep environmentalists from focusing on real environmental issues that pertain to private property rights, such as toxic pollution.

Peak oil may be real, but there could also be a huge oil field in Prudho Bay, AK that we cannot drill due to secret agreements that were made with the Saudis back in the 60s.

I for one believe in global warming. I also see nothing wrong with trying to clean the environment because of it. What's the worst that can happen, cleaner air? Global warming or not there should always be a push to have environmentally safe industry and whatnot.

The government steals more of your money? You don't think thats bad? The environmental movement has been completely hijacked by socialists. Its now more anti-corporate than anything else. Keep that in mind. Greenpeace is anti-capitalist, not simply pro-environment. Ask the cofounder of Greenpeace, he'll tell ya. (can't remember his name now)

The worse that could happen is that we all become pantheist slaves. And I'm not kidding.

With peak oil, should watch the Non-Energy Crisis.

Now go and Google global warming and see how many results you get and the sources involved. I guarantee there's just as many if not more legitimate scientific sources saying otherwise.

If you followed the link, you'd see there's been no warming since 1998. And yes, there's two side to that fact, the side of truth and side of deception. Which side are you on?

The side of deception? What, do you think that most of the scientific community is involved in some sort of conspiracy to improve the environment? Do you think they make this stuff up?

Who ever said I supported the greenpeace movement? I already said earlier that I believe it's up to the citizens of the country to improve the environment through Private Property rights. Just because someone thinks that improving the environment is a good idea doesn't mean they think government should handle it and it certainly doesn't make them anti-corporate.

Though this is a controversial document, I encourage you to look into it. I first heard of The Report From Iron Mountain in G. Edward Griffin's classic Creature From Jekyll Island. Griffin discusses the legitimacy of the Report and then goes on to apply its findings to our present situation. Here is a disclaimer, found on the bottom of this page. I agree with both Griffin and Bob Lally in their assessments of it.

The Iron Mountain report was originally published by Dell. It is extremely hard to find now. In the early 90s a sequel was published. The author of this book took full credit for the first book and claimed that it was a hoax. The only problem with this "hoax" is that everything in the original book has worked out to be true. So whether the original title is a hoax or not is irrelevant. The original book is a blueprint for the present and the future. Click here to find more about this controversial book from Simon & Schuster.

Griffin explains the findings of the Report and its relevance to today's Climate Change Agenda. My copy of Jekyll Island is the 1998 printing. I'm almost afraid to read the new one. At any rate, for the NWO to exist the people must be suppressed by something other than war. An outside threat-- such as Climate Change-- was being discussed in 1966, at least enough to make it into the so-called hoax text of Report From Iron Mountain. Different ideas were mentioned, one of which being an extra-terrestrial threat, but climate change was ingenious in that it made each human being not only his own worst enemy but the worst enemy of the planet.

Sorry, but dropping temperatures are dropping temperatures no matter how you spin it.

And someone probably mentioned GreenPeace because on of the co-founders of GreenPeace is now a global warming denier.

Mate, I used to believe in it. I would debate my neocon friend over it. I've since woken up. It's not self interest on behalf of the oil companies, it's part of the bigger picture. The environment is being used to further the cause towards one world government. :)

Go google and see if you can find the globe is heating up / getting warmer... since those reports were released. ;) Shouldn't be too hard, you've guaranteed it.

My handle?

I think they were referring to your name.. the "wisdom" part.
