Tickets to the RNC in Tampa

I don't know if this is even possible, but I was wondering where I can obtain a guest pass to get access to the convention? I would like to at least see it, in person. I am young and have supported Paul since 2007-08 and going to Tampa to vote for Dr. Paul would have meant the world to me.

I worked to become a delegate and never got on the ballot because I openly supported Ron Paul. I paid a fee of $150 just to be on the ballot, on which I never appeared because of who I support. No refunds allowed. Despite getting 2nd place, RP received no delegates. (He needed 15% of the vote in AR to get delegates, but only received 13.4%) Who says the counting was perfect or that there wasn't vote fraud?? I am extremely disappointed that I could not be a delegate. I would have proudly supported Dr. Paul in Tampa. He earned delegates. The Arkansas rules need changed. End of rant. Anyhow..

If anyone can help me find a ticket or tell me who to ask, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there will be guest tickets available.

I just talked to an alt and she said there will be a limited amount of guest passes given out to each state. And they have to be picked up by a credentialed person each morning at breakfast at the hotel. Anyone who gets credentialed, whether as a del/alt/guest, has to get a Secret Service background check.

Thanks for the help. I guess I'll try talking to the Arkansas delegation and see what comes of it. Looks like to me the Republican Party should be able to give them out beforehand, especially to members. Even if they are giving them out, I doubt they'd give me one since I look so young and they know who I support. They've publicly stated their hatred for us at the state committee meeting. I don't know how I can continue dealing with these people. They have been most unwelcoming, unprofessional, and downright rude.

If I find out anything definitive on how to obtain guest passes, I will let everyone know.
