EDIT: This debate will focus on foreign policy and national security. PLEASE try to attend this one if you can. We need the audience in our favor.

What? I thought the CNN debate was the one focused on foreign policy. Are they trying to hurt Ron or something?

We need every seat in that place filled with our people. Cheers and boos control perception.

Both debates will be focused on foreign policy. The CNN debate will be 3 days after this one.

I think the foreign policy debates are what we need. I see foreign policy as the only obstacle from breaking through our 15% ceiling right now and we need to address it because of all the misconceptions out there. I really hope Gary Johnson is included in these debates because we're probably going to need the all the help in this one.

I agree. I hope all the prep possible is going into these debates. I don't however agree that Johnson should be there. He has slipped into the neocon views, and I wouldn't be surprised if he attacked Ron to gain some serious attention -- which he would.

You should post this in Grassroots Central to get more exposure, and create a facebook event.

Should we try to get some of those Silver Elephant Tickets? We could set up a chipin. Can someone find out how much donatin' we would have to do to get some?

I've already messaged some members who are in the area and they told me they will get the word out to the local supporters. I just messaged the Meetup group in the area that has over 100+ members.

Should we try to get some of those Silver Elephant Tickets?

It's not really a Silver Elephant ticket. You have to be a member of their Silver Elephant Club, which requires a monthly $10 contribution (it doesn't say how many months you have to contribute $10 though).

I just requested 2 (for me and my father) from the SCGOP website. I'm confused: are these free or will we have to pay eventually? Another thread title says free, but then people are talking about this $10 silver elephant stuff?

Does it make a difference that I live in Georgia?

I just talked to the SC GOP person that I bought my tickets from for the May 5th debate.

The only tickets available now are for $125 a piece. You can either buy 1 @ $125 or 2 for $250. If you buy 2 tickets you get tickets to the pre-debate dinner. The seats are "preferred seating". Whatever that means.

You can call and get a few, if anyone still wants them.
