I know it is a bit early ... but we all have an idea of what President Bush will say for his State Of The Union tonight! Maybe we can get things rolling with some Pre-Speech analysis .... God knows the MSM does it constantly!

Then we need to continue this thread throughout the speech and after!

Also ... Anyone in favor of a Ron Paul Post Speech Analysis on You Tube?? The original idea came from a thread:

I fear for my TV screen. I'm not sure I will be able to watch it without my daughter learning 10,000 curses and me ending up having to buy a new TV.

sorry guys, but why RP's facebook group has less than 5 thousand members? if you search for RP , the first group you get had 4,349 members and the second group is all about smearing him

Donate $1 to Ron Paul for every time Bush looks or sounds like an idiot tonight!

Gee, i wonder what he's gonna tell us tonight....hmmmm. Let me take a guess....

Here is the official transcript from cnn:

Bush announces military campaign

President Bush addresses the nation.

U.S. President George W. Bush announces the U.S. and coalition forces opening strike on Iran (January 28)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush addressed the nation at 10:15 p.m. ET Monday. Following is a transcript of his remarks:

My fellow citizens, at this hour American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iran, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger.

On my orders, coalition forces have begun striking selected targets of military importance to undermine Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's ability to wage war. These are opening stages of what will be a broad and concerted campaign.

More than 35 countries are giving crucial support, from the use of naval and air bases, to help with intelligence and logistics, to the deployment of combat units. Every nation in this coalition has chosen to bear the duty and share the honor of serving in our common defense.

To all of the men and women of the United States armed forces now in the Middle East, the peace of a troubled world and the hopes of an oppressed people now depend on you.

That trust is well placed.

The enemies you confront will come to know your skill and bravery. The people you liberate will witness the honorable and decent spirit of the American military.

In this conflict, America faces an enemy who has no regard for conventions of war or rules of morality. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has placed Iranian troops and equipment in civilian areas, attempting to use innocent men, women and children as shields for his own military; a final atrocity against his people.

I want Americans and all the world to know that coalition forces will make every effort to spare innocent civilians from harm. A campaign on the harsh terrain of a nation as large as California could be longer and more difficult than some predict. And helping Iranians achieve a united, stable and free country will require our sustained commitment.

We come to Iran with respect for its citizens, for their great civilization and for the religious faiths they practice. We have no ambition in Iran, except to remove a threat and restore control of that country to its own people.

I know that the families of our military are praying that all those who serve will return safely and soon.

Million of Americans are praying with you for the safety of your loved ones and for the protection of the innocent.

For your sacrifice, you have the gratitude and respect of the American people and you can know that our forces will be coming home as soon as their work is done.

Our nation enters this conflict reluctantly, yet our purpose is sure. The people of the United States and our friends and allies will not live at the mercy of an outlaw regime that threatens the peace with weapons of mass murder.

We will meet that threat now with our Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Marines, so that we do not have to meet it later with armies of firefighters and police and doctors on the streets of our cities.

Now that conflict has come, the only way to limit its duration is to apply decisive force. And I assure you, this will not be a campaign of half measures and we will accept no outcome but victory.

My fellow citizens, the dangers to our country and the world will be overcome. We will pass through this time of peril and carry on the work of peace. We will defend our freedom. We will bring freedom to others. And we will prevail.

May God bless our country and all who defend her.

Ok I changed a few words in the transcript. I do believe however that we can expect to see something like this in the near future. Sorry If I scared anyone.

I Hope

Will Ron Paul be there? I know Obama and Clinton are.

Man.. I hope with all of everything that they will show RP during a cutaway ... but I doubt it will happen. Also... for the rest of you speaking in this thread ... I too feel disgusted and a bit pissed off!

However!!!!! KEEP THIS IN MIND! Our message is probably about 80% NOT what he tries to champion.... Let us learn ... study ... and NEVER forget!!! Each and everyone of us needs to take solace in Dr. Paul's message! A sense of security in this tonight! Our/ Ron Paul's message is correct! Please no haters tonight!!!!! Let's keep this positive in the REVOLUTION'S message!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone laughs, but aside from the insiduous lies about the economy, the huge success in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the immenent threat of North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, etc, etc., George W. is a very entertaining. . . um. . . speaker. Who doesn't get tired of hearing about nukular weapon threats in the Middle East?

This is not a joke ... the more Bush wants to use his last year of power promoting "democracy" through a barrel of a gun....

Someone from the Pentagon just emailed me some key points from his speech. Here's a few I'll share with you, although I cannot disclose my source.

1. We're declaring a state of emergency due to the credit crisis and he will be enacting the Homeland Security and National Defense Presidential Directive which allows him to take over all powers of government, local and national.

2. Elections next year are hereby canceled.

3. A draft will be instated Feb. 1st.

4. We're going to bomb Iran with tactical nukes, and we'll be invading Syria, all this week.

5. Every second sunday of each month will hereby be declared George Bush day.

6. Martial law is declared.
