General This subforum is a freak show

It is absolutely amazing when you step back. With Herman Cain alone, the Republican party may have reached a new low in some respects. As clueless as she could be, even Sarah Palin is more consistent on the issues than Herman Cain, who seems to have trouble remembering what he said days before.

And Sarah tried to play off getting caught when she didn't know something. Cain simply thinks its enough to say he'll know the answers and have an opinion after he is president. Again, even Sarah would not have attempted to get away with that.

Agreed.

Herman Cain in a nutshell: "I know nothing about being President, but I will surround myself with status quo advisors who will tell me what to do."

Actually, that could be a good theme for a political cartoon of Herman Cain speaking from inside a nutshell, Lol. :)

I think Mitt Romney is the worst. He literally admitted to the GOP that he fired illegals because he was "running for public office." As much as Cain is a clueless contender, Mitt Romney takes the cake. If he gets the nod, there will be a third party candidate. This will then lead to a reelection of our Great Leader. All Hail THE Obama!

Our greatest threat to liberty today is the same as it was in the first revolution...LOYALIST! Those too afraid to let go of the status quot, too afraid to stand on their own 2 feet. There are 2 types of animals in America today those that want to be free range feeders and those that want to live inside the pen and be fed.

I almost crapped my pants when Romney said that TARP was needed to "save our currency". I mean, does Goldman Sachs supply his crack?

Opposing candidates allows all of us the opportunity to look up the other candidates and completely tear their platform, plank by plank apart. Or help start a discussion on whether or not we should, (and how we should) respond to a specific circumstance the candidate left open. Though I will say we all have our own issues, if it weren't for the individual we would all be collectivists.

I don't know what I'd do without the 'Opposing Candidates' section of this forum. I spend like 90% of my time here and truly enjoy digging up dirt on Ron's opponents.
