I admire the RP supporters for their effort to get the message of Ron Paul out to the public, but the argument is, does the private organization that owns the team and stadium have the property rights to take their signs away?
I think they do, but im not entirely sure. Maybe they don't have that right.
Sure they have the right to censor whatever they want in their stadium (or should). But I'm curious to know how "private" that stadium is. Usually stadia are built with public funds. I don't know exactly how it works.
Anyway, I'm just wondering what their reasoning was when people bring all sorts of signs to games.

It might be that they don't want political signs in the stadium. I watch a lot of baseball and football games, and I've seen many signs, but I don't recall any of a political nature.
