Oh, I've long given up on "whining". I issue warnings to (try to) help and have some laughs at the follies. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him want to be free. /shrugs I've found that worrying about things/people I can't control just gives me headaches.

He reached twice for his jacket which had a gun in it. He didn't think there would be aerial surveillance in the woods that would capture it on tape through the trees. I assume his plan (based on his own words) was to get shot, then use this as a rallying point that the "Feds shot someone with their hands up!" to try to spark a "liberty uprising" through the country.

He was shot at twice as he exited the vehicle with his hands in the air. This is not debatable.

I watched the video may times. He crashes his car in the snow (almost plowing through the roadblock). The he immediately jumps out of the car and runs towards the officers (yes with his hands up). Then he reaches for his gun twice in order to provoke the police to shoot him. I don't know it was right for the police to shoot him, although it was definitely his intention to die there (read what he said beforehand also). The police were most likely legally justified in killing him since he charged at them after nearly crashing his car. Although, you can see the officer in the woods was the one who shot him from behind (this officer did not have a clear view if he actually grabbed his gun or not). The officers with the front view could see he did not actually grab his gun, he just gestured for it, and did not shoot him. This is fully suicide by cop, this guy wanted to be a martyr and had a deathwish which was granted.

If he really wanted to surrender, could have put his hands up through his window. Basically, LeVoy is playing 100% people like you, "liberty" folk who seem to think occupying a federal building is the new Boston Tea Party, and you are eating up the bait pretty deliciously.

My goodness, you come in here with the M$M diatribe and have no understanding of the latest developments. Imagine my surprise.

As he exited the vehicle. With his hands in the air. He was shot at twice by an FBI/HRT assassin. This was admitted to by the investigating sheriff department. The FBI never reported that they had fired and, in fact, tried to cover it up. 5 FBI agents are currently under investigation. Though we know it will lead to nothing.

Bullet hole on LaVoy Finicum's truck traced to elite FBI team

BEND – Something didn't seem right about the bullet hole in the top of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum's white Dodge pickup.
Investigators from the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office could account for bullet holes in the left front hood, the driver's side mirror and the front grille. They came from the AR-15 of a state trooper who had fired three times at the truck as Finicum raced at 70 mph toward a police roadblock on Jan. 26.

The angle of a fourth bullet hole didn't match the others.

An elaborate computer analysis, a review of the FBI aerial video of the shooting scene and a video from a passenger in Finicum's pickup produced a result that startled the team poring over evidence into Finicum's fatal shooting that day
