Exactly. WHen is the last time we've heard Dr. Rand's true message! It's been defense, defense, defense. I think it's time to spread the original message again. If you have twitter or facebook spread his fiscal message. Seems everything I've seen from our ilk is defense.

Not about Anchor Babies

While I agree with your sentiment and message, the birthright citizenship, anchor baby stuff is a winning position on both sides. I don't want him to demagogue the subject but isn't one he can lose votes with.

Again, Rand won people over way before anchor babies. The message of day to day life will win this campaign. I've watched enough COnway videos and he will try to give personal narratives like Obama.

Stay on the message you want to give Rand, the message that got you support and you will win. Race issues are what the dems want you to talk about.

I agree it is not a losing issue for him, but it isn't the message that most resonates with most, right now. His fiscal message brings HOPE and enthusiasm. That is a good thing.

I just have to say that I remember that debate (vid of Ron Paul) very well. In fact, I encouraged several co-workers to watch that debate. Of everything said that night, Ron Paul won over almost all of the people I knew who'd watched that debate with the part of the response he starts by... Let me see if I get this right...

I agree on the CRA thing because it is so theoretical and complex that it even if the majority of Kentuckians agree with him, it's still not helpful. But the anchor baby story is a completely different story. That's a huge issue that has relevance in the here and now and on which the vast majority of Kentucky voters passionately agree with Rand. If all we talk about from now till election day is anchor babies Rand will walk away with this thing. The last thing Conway wants is to make this election about illegal immigration.
