I dunno why the moderator moved my last post, but anyway.

Other candidates are doing this, I think we should do.

Adsense for Gmail.

If we fund an account we can have a link come up when a reader has an email containing words like

Constitution
Liberty
Freedom
Interest Rate
Federal Reserve
Stock Market
Iraq
States rights
IRS

Etc... Who thinks we should get this together and make it happen?

I just spent a thousand + dollars on Google AdSense for my business and it was not even CLOSE to worthwhile. I'll never stand in the way of anyone trying to help Ron, but my experience is that it is a total waste of money.

Ive used it in connection with a business in the past as well. The keywords must be very focused. Winning votes and spreading name recognition is a bit different than trying to convert broswers into shoppers...

There's a difference between advertising on the search network (adwords) and content network (e.g. publishers using adsense). Content network is a money drain if not done right (not saying you didn't ;)) Adwords on the other hand is far more targeted because you're getting them while they're searching. That can be a money drain too depending on keywords, landing pages, etc.

There are a ton of companies who spend thousands a day or month on Google ads. They wouldn't do it if there wasn't a return on investment.

What's the best way to organize this so we cover all the bases?

I do have a campaign going on adwords.
