This does NOT make sense...please someone explain...

Well what doesnt make any sense at all is McCain will be ANOTHER Bush no doubt....so i can already see McCain getting into Office and then 1 yr down the line 80% of the American people hate him...how does this happen?
It really makes me think that it doesnt matter if you vote...we do not have a choice in who wins....Its not who votes it who counts the votes....the same thing that happens in "Gangs of New York"

mccain has no chance to beat hillary. he is the bob dole of 2008. the gop are trying to throw this race to their chief illuminati schmuck: hitlery

So basically the answer is the majority are just stupid....and only vote for who is "cool" in the eyes of the main media...? wow this country is going down..and it seems to be picking up the pace in the last 6-12 months.
This is a shame where this country is headed...national id cards, RFID tracking chips in them. Next thing you know itll be just like Nazi Germany..."Papers please" or you goto jail. All because of "terrorist".
why do you think they call them sheeple?:p

The 30% that do want the Iraq War are motivated to elect someone who shares their views.

99% of these people are Republicans and they vote. That means that most Republicans are pro-war.

I thought I already posted to this thread...

Anyway, it's probably because people figure that, even though they strongly disagree with McCain on having gone to Iraq in the first place, they think he'd best handle it now. Don't ask me where they get that idea.

Also, there are a lot of plain ol' ignorant voters who think he's anti-war or just assume he is because he's an "independent-minded maverick."

By the way, the most recent numbers are 30% of Republicans want a withdrawal within a year, 66% of independents, and 90% of Democrats, for 63% overall.

Voter Fraud -- the powers that be want McCain right now, so they're rigging the Primaries, Controlled Media. In reality, nobody likes McCain.

Either that or the Sheeple are so stupid, they're just voting for who they think is winning so far.

"Election Fraud" is far more prevalent than voter fraud. You can be sure that the voice of freedom will be heard to the end of this election cycle one way or the other.

Election fraud and Diebold has been exposed but the masses could care less. The fact is simple, the propaganda machine is effective. People only hear what the tv plants. BUT....I have spoken with at least 1,000 people about politics and the majority are aware of the corruption but feel helpless about voting. Many feel that things are not bad enough yet to take action. And there are also many who feel Dem is the ONLY way to vote due to baby bush's blatant disregard for our freedoms. But even with the Dems there seems to be a genuine yearning for a new message that will right this Republic. It seems inevitable that things must hit rock bottom for this country to wake up. For people to realize they have been duped and doped into believing the perpetual falsehoods. It's only a matter of time. Please don't waste your energy fretting about the people who are not attuned to the coming paradigm shift. Let them wallow in their own hate and avarice. We will rise above. Patience.

reality

The Bell Curve doesn't discriminate between the parties.

Edit:
After posting I realized you were seeking an intelligent insight into illogical behavior.
The crux of the issue is that behavior is by definition illogical. It is, however, a scripted program.
My condolences, but it is our turn to do the programming.:D

I was not "seeking an intelligent insight into illogical behavior". I have done campaign work professionally for many years. I know most voters are dumbasses. That's reality.

And yes, you are correct, there is no Bell Curve variance between D and R voters. There IS, however, a very steep decline in intelligence noticeable by those who think a Paul loss in the GOP primaries means the Paul supporters should go into the Republican Party and take it over. Where are they now? Paul's current campaign is INSIDE the GOP.

It is possible to find intelligent Ron Paul supporters, just don't look for intelligence in those who think they need to reform the Republican Party which is no different than the D party and is entirely corrupt.

Paul has had absolutely ZERO success at reforming the Republican Party...and he's been at it a hell of a long time.

Hubby says Americans are in that "have to win mentality" So then I think of PRIDE. That will destroy this country.

I have often thought of this whenever McCain says that he is proud of this and proud of that.... pride is not a virtue.

Now which group does Ron Paul belong in?????

Save your moderator some trouble--visit the "other candidates" subforum and post threads like these there (assuming there isn't one there already, which there probably is).

It's because the GOP has become expert at fearmongering. . .in this case, "We don't want Hillary to win, right? McCain is our best chance to beat her." (Though we all know that's a pipedream.)

Instead of issues, it's all about just trying to beat the other party, rather than doing something productive.

It's pretty simple why McCain gets the antiwar vote.

Hoi Polloi: "I'm against the war."

Media: "McCain will get the antiwar vote."

Hoi Polloi: "I guess I'll vote for John McCain, since that's who antiwar Republicans are voting for."

Media: "McCain got the antiwar vote."

There is a great tradition that discussions of politics are not civil or polite or wise. This taboo is why people remain so stupid. Without the free flow of political ideas people are left with the top down feeding which is never digested even among their trusted friends and relatives. Politics is treated as a personal thing, a private matter.

Tyrants, crooks and buffoons thrive as a result.

George Bush is near the end of his second term in the White House. Many voters are dumbasses, and Republicans have been dumbest for many years.

Nice post, John. It bears repeating on many other forums so everyone can receive the benefit of your wisdom. Can I have your permission to copy it and past it on several of the other conservative, dumb-ass, Republican forums I sometime post on?

do you really believe McCain actually gets all of the votes they say...i mean seriously 75-80% against the war but then he gets 36% of the vote in Florida...cmon...thank you corrupt GOV'T

I just had a thought has Cindy Sheehan endorsed anyone yet?

She was pretty much a household name in 2005 against the war ...

As one who has also done campaign work professionally for many years, and as one who has suggested in this forum that an effective way to reform the Republican Party, or the Democratic Party, for that matter, is to place your name on the ballot for a seat on their local Executive Committee. If done effectively, by November 5, 2008, Ron Paul will no longer be alone....his efforts here, win or lose, will have paid off.

Keep in my, I am not suggesting to you or any other non-dumb-ass, that you do anything different than what Dr. Paul has done. What's good enough for Dr. Paul, should be good enough for all us non-dumb-asses, that is if we all have the same agenda as Dr. Paul.

Well, it helps fool the people in to voting for war hawks when CIA operatives are moderating debates.

Anderson Cooper's CIA Secret

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusive...cia-secret.php

Anderson Cooper has long traded on his biography, carving a niche for himself as the most human of news anchors. But there's one aspect of his past that the silver-haired CNN star has never made public: the months he spent training for a career with the Central Intelligence Agency.

andersoncooper_007_2.png

Following his sophomore and junior years at Yale—a well-known recruiting ground for the CIA—Cooper spent his summers interning at the agency's monolithic headquarters in Langley, Virginia, in a program for students interested in intelligence work. His involvement with the agency ended there, and he chose not to pursue a job with the agency after graduation, according to a CNN spokeswoman, who confirmed details of Cooper's CIA involvement to Radar.

"Whatever summer jobs or internships our anchors had in college couldn't be less consequential," she added. He has kept the experience a secret, sources say, out of concern that, if widely known, it might compromise his ability to travel in foreign countries and even possibly put him at greater risk from terrorists.

"He doesn't want to be any more of a target than he already is," says one Anderson confidante. On the other hand, as Bob Woodruff and others have learned, American journalists are already prime targets in the world's conflict zones, and are typically accused of having CIA ties even where none exist. And by not disclosing his training before now, Cooper has arguably made it into a potential issue. "It creates the appearance of something smelly there," says a former CNN official who knows Cooper. (Particularly in light of the period Anderson spent studying Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi after college. Soon after, Cooper apparently gave up his Bond fantasy to pursue a career in journalism—except for a brief period when he starred as host of ABC's reality show, The Mole.)

According to the spokeswoman, Cooper told his bosses at CNN about his time with the agency. But even if he hadn't, says Walter Isaacson, who headed the network from 2001 to 2003 and is now president of the Aspen Institute, it's not the sort of thing that would automatically require disclosure, since the stint was brief and far in the past. "I think what he did was probably fine and cool, and I've got no problems with it," he added.

McCain will simply put, Get Destroyed in the General Election if he wins the nomination. He doesn't even have a chance. Ron Paul is the only person who will win the presidency, besides Obama or Clinton. Actually, I think Ron Pul will Hvae a distinct Advantage over Hillary and a slight one over Obama. If the GOP would just realize this, they would stop blacklisting him. Of course that would have to mean they actually didn't want hillary or obama to win. Which I think they do.
