Media effectiveness and "making as much noise" was what I got from the purpose of this march.

We need to really think of the timing. Is summer a good time? think about where you've been and what were you doing last summer? were you watching the news?

most people are on vacation, so in my opinion, that's not a good time.

Is Congress even in session at that time? They're on vacation too aren't they?

Just my thoughts on timing and effectiveness...

People need to think about the money factor, too. In summer hotel prices go up as does airfare. Right now the cheapest hotel in DC is $225/night, from what I've seen. I can only imagine what that price is going to be in the Summer.

I understand ultimately its his choice, I'm just giving suggestions and I hope he considers some of these points.

"A wise man is full of strength,
and a man of knowledge enhances his might,
for by wise guidance you can wage your war,
and in abundance of counselors there is victory."
-Proverbs 24:5-7

Has the Ron Paul Campaign put together an "offical" website for the march yet or is it still in the planning stages?

Lol there is a ton of rooms for less then 60 a night in DC atm. Besides a 10-30 minute train ride and your in an area that leaves you with no worries about lodging. Anyone that books in DC is insane lol.

Someone posted on War Room - something like 'why I won't march'
It might be good to read as he offers some good information.

Anytime is a good time... if you but know what to do with it.
(can't remember who said it but he was famous anyway)

I can think of a dozen ways to promote the message during vacation time. Lets see.... go to the lake shore or beach with a huge umbrella with our Bill of Rights on it; most of it blacked out.

If people lose interest from one month to the next then would they really be the people actually going? I doubt it. Odds are those who are serious about freedom and can make it will go and will STILL continue this fight even if they do not attend the march itself.

I do laugh when I see a remark like this because it really does play into the sheepish mentality. If people need constant updates to "fight for freedom" then I think they might be doing this for the wrong reasons.

I think it should be as soon as possible. I voted for April 15th, Tax Day. The longer you wait, the more people will lose interest, IMO.
